-I guess we have our emergency exit now., chuckled Sadie making Millie giggle in her arms.
Teagan cleared her throat, looking at the two girls hugging. Sadie pulled away and let go of Millie.
-Uh, yeah. We should focus. Okay, so they might not know that we're here but once they notice that those two assholes are gone, this is the first place they'd check. We need to get out of here and find a new hideout., replied Sadie.
They walked up to the fallen wagons and looked outside at the crowd. The men had all the same picture on their hand, looking around for a specific brunette. Millie gulped and looked down.
-We need to work fast. Captain Holt will reach out in a few hours. We can not be around any men when that happens., continued the redhead.
-They- They cancelled the ice skating show for t-today., said Lilia shyly, Jillian hugging her from the side, encouraging her.
-That's genius. Yes. Okay, Millie, do you know where we have to go to reach that building?, asked Sadie after smiling at Lilia.
-Yeah, I do, but it's really risky. We'll have to walk next to the park control building. They could see us., sighed Millie.
-What if you turn off the cameras with your hacking skills?, suggested Sadie.
-That's easier said than done. And, I mean, it would only work for about 17 minutes. We'd have to be really fast. Smartest way to do this would be for you guys to go while I stay here and keep the camera's off the whole time., tried the brunette.
-Not gonna happen. Okay, we need someone who knows the park but we also need you to hack., sighed the older girl.
-I know the park. I used to work here last summer., shrugged Olivia.
-Yes. Okay. Olivia, you lead the others to the ice skating place, building, whatever it is. Millie and I stay behind and work on the cameras and then we'll hurry and come to you., explained Sadie.
-No, no. I can do this alone., argued the brunette.
-Don't be stubborn Millie. She's staying with you., replied Lilia.
-Yes. Jillian, would you mind taking a gun? In case you come across some men who are looking for trouble. For the rest of the time, just blend into the crowd and try to take the shortcuts between the games., said the redhead.
-Yeah, I can do that. But we'll need someone to pick the locks., sighed Jillian.
-I...I know how to., smiled Lilia lightly.
-You do?, frowned Teagan surprised.
-Yeah. I used to pick the lock at school to get into the teacher's room and steal their ice cream., chuckled the blonde girl.
-I always wondered where you got the ice creams from. Now that explains it., replied Millie chuckling.
-Okay, let's focus. Jillian, you protect, Olivia, you guide, Lilia, you show the way, Teagan- you keep your sarcastic comments to yourself., ordered Sadie.
-Sounds like a plan., smiled Olivia.
-Hey, I can be useful., pouted Teagan.
-Yeah, you're great at creating diversions. So if you get caught, think fast and get all of you out of the situation., replied Sadie.
-Okay, mom., replied Teagan.
-Go before I kick your ass., said the redhead.
The girls nodded and waved, but Sadie stopped Teagan.
-Here, grab one of the radios. If you need anything, contact me., said the redhead.
-Will do., nodded Teagan.
-Be careful T., sighed Sadie.
-You too carrot., chuckled Teagan following the girls out of the building.
Sadie turned around to Millie who was looking at the trace of blood on the floor. The redhead walked up to her.
-Let's go hack those cameras., said Sadie making Millie look up.
-Yes. Let's do that., nodded the brunette as they walked back up to the cabinet.
Once at the cabinet, Sadie let Millie do her thing, watching from behind her.
-How long will it take?, wondered the redhead.
-I'm almost done. Look, they're already in the crowd. I'll deactivate the cameras in a few seconds., replied Millie still typing.
-Okay. You're quite good at this., chuckled Sadie.
-And you're quite good at killing people., replied the brunette without thinking.
-Are you...scared of me?, frowned the older girl.
-No, I'm not. I just didn't think you'd actually kill someone., shrugged Millie.
-Well, it was either them or us. Didn't really have a choice. I'm not proud of what I did. But I knew that I had to do it. It's not like I enjoyed doing it. I hated it. But someone had to do it., sighed Sadie explaining it to Millie.
-I know and I wasn't judging or blaming you. I get it. And you were protecting us. Me. And I'm thankful for that., said the younger girl looking back at Sadie now.
-Are you done hacking?, asked the redhead.
-Yup. The cameras will be off for 16 minutes and 47 seconds., confirmed Millie.
Sadie looked at her watch and started a timer.
-Okay, let's move., replied the redhead as she started walking out the cabinet but Millie didn't move.
Sadie walked back to her.
-Millie?, frowned the older girl.
-If I stay here, I'll get to deactivate the cameras for longer., said the brunette.
-No. Come on, let's go. Now., ordered the redhead.
-What if they see us? What if they see me? They'll take me and kill you for helping me., replied Millie.
-That's not gonna happen. I promise. They will not hurt you. I'll keep you safe. You just have to trust me. Come on Millie, we already lost 2 minutes and 23 seconds., replied Sadie.
-Okay. Okay, fine. Let's go., sighed the brunette following Sadie out the cabinet.
They walked up to the wagons and Sadie looked at Millie.
-Show me the way. I'll go anywhere you go. Stay close and don't look anyone in the eyes. If you see that anyone recognized you, tell me. I will not kill any civilians but I will knock them out if I have to. Now, let's move., whispered the redhead while Millie quietly listened and nodded.
They got out of the building through the wagon hole.
