The girls started putting her stuff in the van and driving it to Millie place while Sadie continued packing her clothes with Millie's help. Sadie sighed and looked at Millie.-I never wanted anyone to see this. I mean, I didn't even invite Teagan over cause I was ashamed of where I live. I hate it here. I truly do. But this is embarrassing., admitted the redhead as she put the rest of her clothes in yet another duffel bag.
-Sadie, you got thrown out of your house. You were left with nothing. You don't know how much I respect and admire you for managing to take care of yourself. I mean, I can barely cook for myself and you were out here making a living for yourself by working. You took care of stuff such as your own laundry, your bills and so on. I could never. I've had everything handed to me my whole life. So, when you move in with me, I want you to teach me. I want you to help me be independent from my parents. Please., replied Millie, handing her another filled bag.
-Okay. I will. God, I'm really glad that we met. I'm just sorry for how we met. You know, I thought of reaching out to you and tell you not to go, but we didn't know each other and it would be a stranger telling you not to do something. You wouldn't have cared. And I also needed the money as you can see., said the redhead, getting up now and looking at Millie.
-I get it. You don't have to justify that. I'm not mad at you or anything. I mean, was I terrified the entire time? Yeah. But I also knew I was safe when I was with you. I'm thankful for that., shrugged the younger girl, getting up as well.
-Yeah, after being bitchy and sassy to me for quite a long time., chuckled Sadie, rolling her eyes.
-Well, you started flirting with me. It was weird and it came off strong. But once you backed off, it was actually easier to be nice to you until I didn't feel like I had to hide from you or something., replied Millie, chuckling as well.
-That is- Yeah, okay, fair enough. I mean, your dad told me that I should get as close to you as possible, even if it meant...you know, gay stuff., laughed the redhead at the end.
-Oh. So you didn't even want to flirt with me?, asked Millie.
-Oh I very much did. I guess I just took that as an excuse cause I didn't want to believe that I could fall for a stranger that easily. But oh well. Apparently I can., sighed the older girl.
-You fell for me?, frowned the brunette.
-Well duh. Wasn't that obvious?, asked Sadie, confused.
-I don't know. I mean, I thought you were acting after you turned out to be a traitor but also not a traitor., shrugged Millie, looking down.
Sadie put her hand on Millie's chin and made her look up.
-I took a bullet for you. That was not acting. I like you, Millie. I did since the beginning and I still do. I may have acted as if I didn't feel anything at some point because I was scared for it to be real. But I always felt it. Even if I ignored it., admitted the redhead, not looking away from her.
Millie took a step forward and leaned up, kissing her softly. Sadie raised her eyebrows but eventually kissed back, melting into the softness of the tender kiss. Millie smiled into the kiss, but then pulled away. She looked at Sadie with a soft smile.
-I like you too., whispered the brunette.
-Hm, really? I thought that kiss meant that you despise me., chuckles Sadie.
-God, shut up, Sadie., replied Millie with a desperate sigh.
-Oh yeah? Make me., smirked the older girl, looking down at Millie.
-Bet., smiled Millie, pulling her into yet another kiss.
She wrapped her arms around Sadie's neck, pulling her closer. Sadie had to lean down slightly, placing her hands on Millie's sides, also pulling her closer, wanting to have the younger girl as close as possible. Sadie picked her up by her thighs, placing her on the counter of the kitchen. She kept kissing her, not pulling away. Millie wandered her hands up to Sadie's hair, tangling her fingers in her beautiful red hair. Of course that's when the wooden floor behind them make a noise. Sadie immediately turned around, but before she could even turn around, someone knocked her out in a second. Everything went black. Her body fell to the floor, unconscious. Millie was next, being hit with a hard object and falling on the floor next to the redhead's inactive body.
A few minutes later, Sadie started gaining consciousness again. She kept trying to open her and keep them open, but she failed miserably. At least until she got woken up by cold water being thrown at her. She looked up, coughing slightly. She immediately noticed the woman in front of them.
-God. Are you that obsessed with us?, sighed Sadie, being done with the woman's tantrums.
Margot punched her in the gut.
-You little brat. You're gonna be sorry for double crossing me. I promise., said the woman, grabbing her hair to make her look at her.
That made her realize that she was not the only one tied up to a chair. She saw the brunette next to her on the other chair, still unconscious and blindfolded.
-Oh yes. Her. I'll get to her soon but for now? I'm going to start with you., said the woman as she followed Sadie's gaze.
-No. You will not., said the redhead, looking up at her.
-Is that so?, chuckled Margot, shaking her head, amused.
-Yeah. It is., smiled Sadie, waving at her with one hand.
-What the-, frowned Margot, wanting to grab her gun but Sadie already tackled her to the ground.
Millie was slowly gaining conscious as she heard the noises around her. She opened her eyes, feeling her hands tied as she tried to move. She started panicking, thinking about when she got taken by Margot back at the park.
