-We need to talk. Alone., said the brunette, then looking at the girls.

They nodded and simply left, leaving Sadie and Millie in the room.

Sadie would never admit it but she was nervous. She didn't want to mess up again so pressure was on. She didn't move from her chair when Millie moved her chair closer, facing her.

-You should have told me about my dad., said the brunette.

-I couldn't. If I would have told you, the deal would have been off. I needed the money, Millie. My rent is due in a week. If I don't pay the dude, it's not going to end well. He's not one to forgive. He made sure I understood that when I was late for rent last month., said Sadie, lifting her t-shirt and showing her scar.

-I would have helped you. I have access to his money, Sadie., replied Millie, trying not to show too much emotions or sympathy.

-You would have hated me the second we'd met. And you would have hated your father. I didn't want that. And I honestly don't want his money. I just need it for this month until I find a better job., said Sadie, looking down and sighing.

Millie sighed as well and looked down. She didn't know what to say. Well, she did, but she didn't know how to say it. She clenched her jaw, trying not to seem vulnerable.

-Were you just pretending?, asked Millie.

Sadie looked up at her, not understanding what she meant.

-The kiss. The affection. Was that all just a lie for you?, elaborate the brunette.

-No. The flirting at first, yeah. I just wanted to try and get you to stay close to me but not too close. I needed to keep you safe. But then, I started actually caring about you. Seeing the pain that she put you through. Realizing that you're more than just a spoiled brat. I fell for you, Millie., admitted the redhead, not breaking the eye contact as she spoke.

-I want to believe you. I do. But right now, I need some space. Some time as well. But god, I can't believe that my father put you into this mess. I am so sorry, Sadie., said the brunette.

-It's fine. I'm glad that I'm here to protect you guys., replied Sadie.

-Why did you parents even kick you out?, asked the younger girl curiously.

-Oh. They found out that I'm not straight. They are very religious and they found me in my room with a girl. We were just making out but yeah. They kicked me out and threw my clothes out of the window. I swear, I thought I was watching a movie or something. It didn't feel real. But yeah. My mom did try to contact me again, but...after what she said to me, I don't want to see her again., shrugged the redhead, looking down again.

-Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. It feels weird saying this now after...after punching you and hating you but...if you'd need a place to stay, I've got a little apartment that my grandma left for me when she moved to Europe. My dad doesn't know about it and no one lives there., suggested Millie, looking around and taking her pen out.

She ripped a piece of clothing from a dress that was laying around. She wrote the address on it and handed it to Sadie.

-Millie, I can't accept that. That's very kind of you but no. I can't., refused the redhead.

-Why not?, frowned the brunette.

-Cause I feel like I don't deserve it. I didn't do anything to earn it., shrugged Sadie, looking at her.

-You keeping me safe and saving my life over and over again is not nothing, Sadie. I wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for you., admitted the brunette.

Sadie sighed and took the piece of clothing.

-I'll think about it, yeah?, said the redhead.

-Sounds good to me., said Millie, smiling lightly now.

Good way to not show too much sympathy, right? She got up and sighed. Sadie looked up, not knowing what to expect.

-Let's join the others and make a plan to get out of here., suggested the brunette.

-Yeah. Okay. Do you guys still want me tied up or...?, asked Sadie.

-Since you got out of those ropes in minutes, I don't think it's any use., shrugged Millie, still standing in front of Sadie.

-Oh. Right. Okay., said Sadie, getting up and suddenly being extremely close to Millie.

Millie blushed and looked down, not wanting to show it.

-Let's uhm- Let's go., said the brunette, walking towards the door now.

Sadie smiled to herself, hoping that Millie would let her in again. That she would trust her again. She walk after her, then they made their way to the girls. She didn't get any bad reactions from them, so she assumed that they were okay with her being there.

-Okay. We gotta work together to get out of her. And by out of here, I mean out of the park., said Millie, sitting down in a circle with the girls.

-That's impossible. Margot's got every exit covered. Well...not every single one., said Sadie, looking at Millie.

-Go on?, said the brunette.

-The sewers. As disgusting as that sounds, it's our only way out of the park., said the redhead.

-Are you sure?, asked Jillian.

-Yes. I studied her plan for weeks. I know every detail in it., admitted the older girl.

-Okay. Then how do we get to the sewers?, asked Lilia.

-Well, the closest entrance that is also slightly hidden is around 5 minutes from her. The good news is, we won't be seen., said the redhead.

-And the bad news?, asked Olivia, frowning lightly.

-Well, bad news is that to open it, we need a tool and strength. We got the strength if we do it together, but the tool? The closest one is in the workshop next to the bathrooms. That one is about 8 minutes from here. So in total, we need to walk 8 minutes west to get the tool, and then walk those 8 minutes back and go north for 5 minutes., explained Sadie, trying to keep it as simple as possible.

-Okay. Not everyone has to go get the tool. Sadie, you take someone with you and the rest stays here., said Millie.

-I'm not picking anyone out. Whoever wants to join me, does it., said Sadie, getting up.

-Well duh, I'm not leaving you alone genius., said Teagan, getting up as well.

-Okay. Good. Jillian, keep them safe., said Sadie as she went for the door but Lilia stopped her.

-Wait. Here., said the younger girl, handing her a gun with a silence and ammo.

-Thank you, Lilia., nodded Sadie as she took it and put it in her waistline.

Teagan and Sadie walked out.
