⚠️. Mavi's POV

"Are we there yet?" pang apat na tanong na ito ni Sage sa driver namin at mukhang naiinis na si Grazer dito.

"Are you bored yet?" nagtanong din pabalik si Grazer at napa-iling na lang ako sa dalawang ito.

Halos dalawang oras na rin biyahe namin kasi bawat route na nadadaanan namin ay laging may checkpoint kaya natatagalan lalo.

I stared at the road ahead since I was seated in the middle of Collin and Asteria tapos si Millan nasa tabi ni Aster, malapit sa bintana.

May space pa sa likod pero since kasya naman kami rito sa unahan ay dito na lang kami nagpwesto, just in case someone needs to use the back seat diba.

Collin fell asleep with her head lying on my shoulders then si Asteria naman nanonood sa phone niya tapos itong si Millan abala rin tumitig sa labas, sa bintana ng sasakyan.

I just wish moments like this never ends. I don't like it when we're in the middle of chaos because I get too panic-stricken all the time-fears clouding my mind as soon as I think about situations like these.

But I doubt that moments like this would repeat or happen again kasi nga magulo na ang mundo. I just chose to be calm kasi sabi nga nila, stay calm before the storm. Plus, there are people and someone with me who can still calm my storms.

My thoughts were suddenly washed away when Grazer pulled the van near a parking lot. "Hey guys, nandito na tayo.. " our driver spoke in her usual voice and I think si Sage at ako lang nakarinig nito.

"Cole, wake up!" sigaw ko rito kasi hindi ito agad nagigising nang basta basta lang unlike Millan na mabilis magising sa isang tapik lang.

"Huh? ano ano? sino aawayin ko?!" Cole sat up to a fighting stance like she was fighting someone from her dream. I mentally face palmed seeing her like this as the whole car emitted into small laughs.

"Wala, nandito na tayo sa Darkmore" sabi ko at saka nito inayos ang sarili na biglang nahiya sa ginawa niya. Cute nga pero lagi kong kaagaw ang tulog sa kaniya.

Millan was the first one to get out of the van as Asteria followed behind her. Collin and I soon followed suit and then there's Grazer with Sage clinging onto her, obviously scared at the sight of these hospital people running here and there when we entered the building.

"Tangina ang dami pa rin tao, parang walang araw na hindi magulo rito" biglang mura ni Collin sa tabi ko sabay humawak ito sa kamay ko dahil ayaw nitong nawawala ako sa paningin niya.

We walked through the busy and loud hallways of the hospital as nurses and doctors are almost everywhere, kahit saang sulok dito makikita mo abala sila sa mga pasyente na hindi malaman ang nangyayari.

"This place is too crowded for me, I'll just go wait at the van na lang" we heard Sage say as Grazer accompanied her outside again.

"What is happening with these people?" I muttered under my breath. They're running around like chickens who ran away from their coops making me feel lightheaded.

"Mills, sino ba pinunta natin dito?" I asked her while fixing my eyeglasses. Halos manlabo na paningin ko sa daan na pinapalibutan ng mga tao.

Everything seems blur when people inside passed by us, it's like time were in a slow-motion pero sobrang bilis ng galaw nila habang gumagalaw ka rin.

Hearing no answer from Millan means mamaya pa namin malalaman. Hindi na ako nagtanong ulit kasi ayaw niyang paulit ulit na may nagtatanong sa kaniya.

We then walked towards the receptionist at the hospital lobby kasi nga we're going to fetch someone.
