⚠️. Collin’s POV
The building reeks of danger but we have no choice at the moment.
“Hurry! get inside already!” I whispered yelled as we rushed inside the torned building. Mavis and I ran through the entrance while the others followed from behind.
We ran towards the door of the entrance and pushed it for my friends to get in safely. As they passed by me, I quickly closed the door and went to Mavi’s side.
Wala na kami narinig mula sa labas so that means the cost is clear.
We walked inside trying to wander around this grim and gloomy structure. The whole place resembles an old restaurant or some sort of cafe as there were broken tables, chairs and a huge chandelier inside placed near the middle.
Sa sobrang dilim pa wala kami makita, we tried using our phones but Asteria suggested to save our batteries instead so we could use it for something later on.
The only source of light inside is the illumination of the sun setting down from a medium hole at the back of a counter. I even tried making the hole larger so we could see a little more of its light, pero kapag ginawa ko ito ay natatakot akong baka biglang gumuho rin ito.
“Wait, I bought some flashlights but I don’t know kung kaninong bag ito napalagay” bulong ni Asteria sa amin. Although we couldn’t see each other visibly, Millan and I shared a look where we already knew where the flashlights are.
It’s either inside Mavi’s or Millan’s bag because we know Terri’s habit of misplacing her stuffs with ours.
I searched Mavi’s bag na dala dala ko while Millan was searching up her own.
“Found it. Why are you always
making lagay your stuffs to my bag” Millan said in a whisper as we heard Terri chuckling with an apology.Millan handed them one by pair.
She put the light under her chin and widened her eyes trying to imitate a ghost to scare us when in fact, siya itong matatakutin sa amin.
“The sun’s going down, I think we should stay the night in here just to be safe” Jacen suggested and we agreed because I don’t think one of us is willing to leave at such hour, plus the road outside is darker than a manhole.
“Ano kaya ito? parang lumang restaurant no?” Sage asks tapos sabay turo sa malaking chandelier sa gitna nito.
We roamed inside trying to find a much better spot to settle down.
