Collin was right about them creating the medicine in just a day! They finished it in just a day and in within twenty hours.
The both of them stood in front of us at the living room while holding the medicine cure inside a medium sized closed beaker.
Collin held it while Millan disposed everything they used as it is known as hazardous and might burn us if ever it made contact with our skins.
"See, I told you guys mabilis lang kasi sobrang talino ni Millan at calculated niya lahat ng tungkol sa gamot na ito" Collin states in amusement as they now stored the medicine inside an apparatus tube with a cork covering the top to avoid spilling it.
They didn't let us touch it because why would we? sa pagkakaalam ko ay sobrang delikado na hawakan ito kung wala ka man lang din suot na laboratory equipment like gloves, lab apron, mask and safety goggles.
As they finished storing the medicine in a safe container, they decontaminated their bodies with sanitizers so that the germs and chemical substances will be effectively removed from them.
Agad din silang naglinis ng ginamit nila sa basement at tinapon ito sa isang sewer kung saan hindi namin maaamoy o mahahawakan ang mga ito since everything they used was hazardous, so they had to dispatch the rest of toxic waste used in that chemical experiment.
"Now that the medicine is done, I think we should hand it to the professional doctors in the quarantine area, so they could multiply these type of medicines that could help a few na nahawaan" Millan states earning a few nod from us.
We just got news from Grazer's former comrade who works at the quarantine headquarters and the person said na they let the infected quarantined at the place para hindi ito kumalat pa sa iba.
We agreed right away with Millan's decisions because as licensed doctors, those people really need help and may pag-asa pa magamot kung ito ang ituturok sa kanila and knowing both Collin and Millan are licensed virologists, they can entrust them with the said medicines.
They won't approve this if both are not licensed or kagaya ng tauhan ni De'Clan na gumagawa ng bawal na gamot, kaya yung ibang doctors dito hindi sila pinapayagan magdala ng rated x na gamot made by them.
Speaking of De'Clan at ang tauhan niya, posible rin kaya na tauhan din nila ang nasa quarantine area kaya nahahawaan ang mga ito at hindi pa nagagamot?
"Sandali, hindi kaya tauhan din ni Cameron nasa quarantine headquarters? paano kung tanggihan yung gamot niyo?" madiin kong tanong dahil seryosong usapan na ito kung tatanggihan pa nila ang gamot na pwedeng makatulong sa iba.
Collin only shook her head no while Millan told us that she will prove them wrong and their creation of a cure will be the new era of their success that will bring Cameron to her downfall.
I was so proud of Millan and how far she had come, I was there with her first success in making an experiment and I treated her like my own sister kasi nag-iisang anak ako sa pamilya namin.
The same goes to Jacen, we both treated ourselves like siblings but during the days of working together, something romantic developed between us. There's this red string that is keeping us in between the line of being friends and both lovers, which I was so glad of because none of it ruined our bond.
I just think that Jacen will always be my soulmate in every lifetime and Millan is my platonic soulmate in every universe there is. I'm so thankful to have them both, sila lang yung bumubuo sa akin tuwing pakiramdam ko na kulang ako.
"Stormy? earth to Stormy" a loud voice broke me from my dramatic trance as I saw Jacen waving her hands in front of me.
"What? sorry, may iniisip lang" I told her with a light smile, not sounding too serious kasi magtatanong siya bakit na naman malalim iniisip ko.
"Aalis na raw tayo sabi ni Collin kaya tara na" I nodded at her and took my bag.
Hindi na rin kami nagtagal sa bahay na ito kasi si Grazer na rin nagsabi na wala kami mapapala kung dito kami magpapalipas ng araw and because of Millan's plans, we cannot waste more time in here with an undead's rotting bodies.
We left the house and was about to open the gate when Grazer heard a loud growl coming from the back of it. We glanced at each other, nervous and anxiety suddenly creeping into our bodies as we heard those muffled undead sounds.
"Wala naman sila nung dumating tayo rito? bakit ang dami na ngayon?" alalang tanong ni Mavis at bumulong na bumalik kami sa loob but Collin refused otherwise.
"Lalabanan natin mga ito sa ayaw at sa gusto niyo" Collin spat in a serious tone that made us flinched from our spots.
Nakakagulat lang kasi lalabanan namin sila na sobrang dami sa labas tapos iilan kami? I think Collin's out of her mind!
"They will outnumber us! walo lang tayo ano ka ba?" sabi ko na medyo nanginginig na sa takot.
I kept thinking of the possible outcome of this, it's either may masasaktan sa amin o lalong hindi kami makakaalis dito kung lalabanan kami.
"I agree with Cole since Grazer told us na walang ibang daan sa likod, we have to fight our way out" it was now Sage who spoke and I was shocked to hear that from her. Siya pa naman itong takot na takot nung una pero ngayon halos ginanahan ito bigla.
"It's now or never, Stormy" Mills said as Jacen held my hand only to cease my worries.
I only nodded at them before all of us readied our weapons, not letting any of our stuffs weighing us down or stall us from the fight.
Grazer pulled the gate open as horde of undeads from afar perked their ears and wandered their eyes at the sight of us leaving the place.
Kinakabahan ako at siguradong sila rin kasi bakas sa mukha nila na natatakot din sila, pero kailangan talaga namin lumayas dito if it means fighting for our lives yet again.
No one tried initiating to fight the zombies not until a fast runner undead ran across the streets, going straight to our spot while dashing in a bee line and tried attacking Grazer from the side of the gate.
"Raze sa taas mo!" Sage yelled while abruptly pulling out her gun but before she could do so, Asteria pushed her aside because one also tried attacking her.
It's now a horde versus the eight of us at mukhang marami sila kaya mas natakot ako kung hindi namin kakayanin ito pero kailangan.
"Bwisit ka Cameron De'Clan!" I yelled and pulled my trigger two times on that undead above Grazer and aggressively kicked the one who tried pulling Sage.
They both thanked me as we started off fighting with each of them. At this point, the important thing we need to do is to wipe them out without getting a scratch from them.
And just like what Millan said, it's now or never.
