Chapter 2 The Boy

Momo POV

After the villain attack, police and ambulance showed up to help. The villain must have got away since I didn't see anyone getting arrested which is weird since Mach's speed would make it very easy to catch villains.

A policeman with a big white moustache came up to me and asked "Are you the one who saved that boy?".

"Yes sir".

"Well done young hero, I'm very impressed. Just know that you and you alone may have saved this boys life. They must be training the next generation of hero's well in UA".

"Oh thank you sir, I did my best" I said bowing.

"Anyways good luck with your training young hero" he said as he walked away.

I smiled and waved goodbye.

"Wow Momo you're famous" Toru said while running up to me.

"Yeah you're like a celebrity now for saving that boy" said Mina.

"And you did a good job as well. Well done Momo, ribbit".

"*Chuckles* thanks girls" I said as I stared at the boy I saved. I must not have noticed when I saved him because I was in such a rush but he's actually quite handsome.

His long brown hair was smooth and all ruffled up, it was the cutest thing ever. I closed my eyes and imagined what his voice was like. Was it rough and gravely or was it gentle and smooth?

I started to blush at the thought of seeing him again. I wished I got to be able to talk to him and get to know him. Surely whoever he was he can't be as bad as Mineta.

I opened my eyes to see all the girls looking at me confusingly. I could almost see question marks popping out of their heads like in a comic book or a cartoon.

"Oh uh sorry I dozed off for a second" I said while fixing my eyes on that boy who was being loaded into the ambulance. Even if I just knew his name that would make me so happy

The girls looked in the direction I was looking then smirked at each other. Mina put her elbow on my shoulder and said teasingly "So looks like someones got a little crush".

"Uh what, no no no it's not like that" I said nervously.

"Oh really? I've seen that look before. You've fallen in love" says Toru.

"Um well I uh" I said.

"Don't worry we won't tell anyone ribbit".

"Yeah of course. What kind of friends would we be if we did" Uraraka says while putting her thumbs up.

"Thanks girls you're the best".

We all walked back to the dorms and told everyone what happened.

"Wow you saved someone Momo nice job" said Midoiya with a twinkle in his eye.

"Yes very good job ya- Momo" said Iida.

"Thanks everyone" I replied.

We decided all have lunch together in the common area and watch some TV together. I tried to pay attention but all I could think about was that boy.

Before I knew it the weekend was over and we were going back to classes. Mr Aizawa got very upset with me because I was daydreaming about the boy again. I don't know why I couldn't get him off my mind. I didn't even know him, yet I felt like I could marry him right now.

After school I decided to go up to Mr Aizawa and ask him if I could see that boy.

"Hm? Oh yes that boy you saved at the mall. I guess you could go see him. I was actually gonna go see him right now. Wanna come?" Mr Aizawa asked.

I nodded practically shouting "YES OF COURSE". I could tell I seemed a little too excited because Mr Aizawa and the rest of the teachers in the teacher's lounge gave me a strange look.

"Well then that's settled you're coming with me to the hospital".

When Mr Aizawa and I were ready we walked to a black car and got inside and the driver drove us to the hospital. On the way there all I could think about was that boy.

My heart was bounding, my smile was wider than ever and my palms were sweaty. I made sure that my hair was all neat and tidy and I put on a tad of makeup.

Mr Aizawa gazed at me in a concerted manner. I didn't notice though and just looked out the window deep in my thoughts.

When we finally got to the hospital I pushed open my door and walked out taking in a deep breath. "It's a lovely day isn't it Mr Aizawa?"

"Um I guess so" Mr Aizawa said while closing his door shut.

My heart started to pound even harder and my palms sweat more. It was like time had slowed down and everyone was paying attention to me like I was the star of a TV show.

Mr Aizawa and I went to the front desk and talked to the lady there. "Sorry this is late notice but I brought someone along with me. This is the girl who saved (Y/N)".

"Oh what a pleasure. We're always happy to have hero's here big or small".

"*Chuckles* thank you" I said. So his name was (Y/N), what a beautiful name. His name had the essence of love and kindness.

The lady directed us to his room and we climbed up the stairs to see him. Another lady talked to Mr Aizawa and I overheard a little.

"So as you may know this boy has a very dangerous Quirk. We don't know much about it but what we do know is that he can disintegrate anything at will. We've also discovered that his parents died a long time ago and he's been living on the streets ever since".

Oh dear, poor thing. His parent died and he's been homeless ever since. That's just awful. I wish I could help.

The nurse opens his door and told us to head in. I walked in to see many machines linked up to him monitoring his health.

"Are your ready Momo?" Mr Aizawa asked.

"Yes".
