The girls had a tight schedule for a few weeks preparing for their comeback with their special stage that took place two days back, and that meant they didn't really meet the other nct members even once.
So their manager decided to give them the day off, and go to surprise the dreamies at m countdown.
They could congratulate the dreamies for their 1st win for hot sauce through text, so they thought to go meet them.
They were waiting for the Dreamies in their dressing room, while the Dreamies were on stage, waiting for the result.
All the girls were gathered around the TV, which showed NCT and Oh My Girl on the stage.
They kept their fingers crossed, waiting for the results.
When the MCs called out NCT Dream, the girls cheered loudly.
"Yes!" Loona jumped up and down.
"They won!" Naomi clapped.
"Okay, guys...they'll be back in 2 minutes." Kei said.
"Yo, Rae, what's with that look on your face?" Lynn asked.
Rae looked at the girls, her face was all red. "Huh?"
"Why is your face red?" Jinnie asked.
"Are you blushing?" Hae joked, making Rae choke on air.
"Wait, seriously?" Lily asked.
"Is it because of..." Eun smirked, and Rae looked at her wide eyed. "...me?"
Rae sighed in relief.
"Ah, shut up." Rae laughed.
"They look so good." Dri smiled.
"I know right. Mark looked too good...they all did." Naomi said.
Just then the door opened, and the Dreamies entered.
"Oh my God, guys congrats!" Rae yelled, and ran straight to hug Chenle.
"Wow, when did you guys come?" Jeno asked, as his eyes met with Kei's.
She smiled widely and walked towards him to hug him tightly.
He was shocked at first since Kei wasn't the one to show affection. He hugged her back and swayed.
"Jisungie! You were so great!" Lynn jumped and ruffled his hair making him smile.
"Noona, you can't even reach my height." He joked.
"We got cake and drinks!" Jinnie yelled putting the box of cake on the table along with drinks.
"Hey, Chenle, there you go." Hae said, handing him a cup of iced tea. Rae was holding onto her brother like a koala while Haechan watched her fondly.
Eun grabbed Jaemin's coffee/battery acid, and walked towards him, as he watched her with a soft smile.
"Congratulations." She smiled. His heart picked a fast pace when he realised he saw her smile after so long.
"How are you?" He asked, implying that how she was holding on after her grandma's death.
She looked down and nodded slowly, but she couldn't help but get teary eyed.
"Hey, hey..." Jaemin pulled her by the waist, and cupped her face. "What did I say...she's proud of you."
She sniffled and nodded, and then looked up, "Thank you."
"Eun don't cry~" Dri called out. "Come on, we gotta celebrate today."
"Give her some time." He smiled.
"I'm fine." Eun said, and was about to pull away, but Jaemin pulled her in a hug, and buried his face in her neck.
"Hey~ congratulations." Naomi smiled as Mark smiled back. They were so awkward, it was so cute.
"Thanks, haha." He said, and leaned it for a hug, but there was a table between them.
Mark realised and let out a shy giggle, making her laugh too, before he walked to her, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.
"You guys have worked so hard." She said, making him hum.
"You too. I can't wait for your comeback."
The door opened once again, and the girls' manager stormed inside.
"Lee Yuki, what have you done?" The manager raged, gaining everyone's attention.
