Kei loves to cover other group's dances. It's her favourite pastime, and she thinks that covering other group's dances helps improving her dancing skills.
They just ended the promotions of their debut song, Baddie, which was very much loved by the fans. Since promotions were over, their manager offered them a day to rest, and then get back to preparing for their comeback that was going to happen somewhere in May.
Kei was walking to the practice room, so that she could cover some songs in peace, away from the loud chaos in her dorm caused by Eun scolding Loona for eating her snacks.
As she entered the dance room, she didn't notice another member in one of the corners, warming up.
"Oh, Kei." She turned around to see Jeno with a bottle in his hand.
"Oh, Jeno sunbaenim...hello." She bowed.
"How many times do we have to tell you not to call us sunbaenim?" Jeno chuckled.
"I don't know..." Kei smiled. "Calling someone Oppa feels weird."
"Then call me Jeno." He said. "Sunbaenim feels weird. Anyways, what are you doing here?"
"I was just here to cover some songs." She said. "Their dance." She added.
"Oh, me too." He smiled. "How about we do a cover together?"
"Are you sure?'' She asked, raising her brow.
"Yeah! Only if you don't mind." He said.
"I don't..." She said.
"Okay! What song should we do?" He bit his lip, looking down at his phone.
"Lets do Make A Wish!" She said excitedly. "I know the chorus!"
"Okay!" He smiled, putting on the song.
After a few minutes, they got bored, so they decided to do a random dance.
"Ooh, I'm good at this." Kei flipped her hair.
"The self confidence, oh my god." Jeno chuckled, putting on the first random dance he found.
The first song was I Can't Stop Me, and Kei, along with Jeno, started to dance.
Kei saw Jeno dance to a girl group song for the first time, so she was enthusiastically cheering for him, while they danced.
Next one was Blue Hour, and Kei jumped in excitement, as she started dancing. Jeno watched her through the mirror and cheered.
Next was La Di Da, and Jeno smiled, watching Kei so immersed in her dancing. He took this as a chance to sneakily go to his phone and change the song.
And the song he put on was...Baby Shark.
Kei's expression changed from fierce to confused, as she widened her eyes and started laughing when she saw Jeno duck-walking towards her, his hands folded over his head. (If that even made sense)
"Baby shark du du du du, baby shark du du du du..." Jeno continued dancing making Kei laugh so hard she was rolling on the ground.
"Yah! Get up and dance with me!" Jeno laughed, not stopping his dance, as Kei got up and joined him.
After a few minutes, they lay on the ground, exhausted. Jeno was gripping his stomach tight, as the two laughed like maniacs.
"That was fun." Kei said, getting up and helping him up.
"Yeah, I think we should go now." Jeno said.
"Mhm, it's getting late."
