The rumours of Kei being a bully had died down, but it definately had gone up to the point where she was forced to apologise. After her apology, people had assumed that she had admitted to being a bully, but when SM Entertainment sued the accuser out of the blue, it got out to public that it was all fake.
Ever since that, the members had been very caring, they had always been but they kept asking her if she was okay or not. The accusations had gone very bad to the point she had breakdowns whenever she was alone, she didn't eat much and had drastically lost weight.
Kei was known to not care about all the hate she got, so when she actually got affected, the members were very worried.
Kei hated this. She hated how everyone had started thinking she was weak.
But one day, she couldn't hold it in and she snapped.
They were with the Dreamies messing around, and she was just sitting quietly, scrolling through her phone.
"Kei, are you okay?" Rae asked.
"Yeah." Kei replied.
"You sure?" Jisung asked, staring at her.
"Can you all please stop treating me like I'm a kid!" She snapped.
"Kei, we're just asking you if you're fine..." Lynn said. "You seem really quiet."
"I'm not fine, if that's what you wanna hear!" Kei said. "I'm not some kid!"
"We never said you were, Kei." Renjun said calmly. "You need to calm down."
Kei took a long breath and shook her head. She stormed out of the room, slamming the door shut. Jeno didn't say anything this whole time, and just followed her out of the room.
"Kei!" He shouted.
"Leave me alone, Jeno!" She yelled back, as she continued walking straight.
"No! I'm not going to leave." He sternly said, his long legs catching up with her speed, and he grabbed her wrist, turning her around.
He got surprised when he noticed her tear stained face. He automatically pulled her to his chest, and ran his fingers through her hair while she broke down.
"They just care for you, Kei." he said, softly. "I know you don't like being asked if you're okay all the time, it makes you feel weak...but they love you, we love you and we care for you. Of course we knew you weren't fine. You've never been this quiet."
"And I'm sorry for treating you like trash." He sighed.
She looked up at him and sniffled, "God, this is embarrassing."
"Hey, no it isn't." He said.
"It is..." She said. "Don't tell anyone this happened."
"Of course, I won't." He said.
