"Hyuck, can you come babysit Daegal with me?" Rae called. "Chenle's out with Jisung and Sungchan."
"Why? You miss me?" He smirked.
"Bot sure about me, but Daegal probably does." She rolled her eyes.
"On my way." He said.
Around 15 minutes later, the doorbell rang, and Rae went up to open the door. As usual, it was Hyuck.
"Took you long enough." She smiled, as he entered the house, immediately being greeted by the excited bichon frise.
They went to Rae's room, and sat down, as Donghyuck played with Daegal.
He seemed extremely...quiet.
"Is something the matter?" She asked, making him slowly shake his head. "Don't lie to me. You know I know when something's wrong with you, right? What happened? Are you tired?"
"No." He said. "I've just been...thinking something."
"And what is that, may I ask?" She said.
He let out a long sigh. "You know how I keep saying that Daegal is my girlfriend, right?"
She nodded.
"But we all know its a joke. Its not possible." He said. "So...I've been thinking..."
He smiled and hid his face in his hands.
"I've been thinking...I can date her owner instead." He completed.
"Are you high?" She asked. "Stop joking around."
"I'm not joking around." He got up and walked to her. "Zhong Mirae, I'm serious."
"Lee Donghyuck, I don't believe you." She said, as she started walking away. "When have you been ever serious in your entire life?"
"But, Rae...I really want to date Daegal's owner." He said. "Because I really-..."
"If I say anything, you'll just go like "Haha I meant I really want to date Chenle." She snapped.
"...like her." He completed. "What? I never said anything about Chenle?"
She stared at him.
"Look. I'm being completely honest. I am talking about us, okay? You and me. Lee Donghyuck and Zhong Mirae. I like you. Really." He said.
She opened her mouth to say something. "I..." She sighed. "I mean- I...uh, I kinda like you t-"
He didn't let her complete as he just stepped closer and attached their lips for a second.
"Huh." Rae said, putting her hand on her mouth. "Do that again."
He smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. He reattached their lips, and closed his eyes. She closed her eyes too, her hands curling up into balls around his jacket. Their lips moved in sync, their hearts raced.
They finally pulled apart.
"I don't know how this happened...but, I just fell for you." He said, his breath heavy. Their faces were still really close so he was just breathing into her mouth. "And I fell damn hard, Zhong Mirae."
She let out a shaky breath, and said, "Chenle shouldn't know about this."
