"You just can't keep making mistakes, Donghyuck." The manager said. "Where's your mind at, huh?"
"He's just not had enough sleep." Mark explained.
"You signed up for this, so you have to work hard!" The manager scolded. "The comeback is in a few weeks and you're still messing up."
"I'm sorry." Donghyuck nodded.
"Whatever now, just take a break today." The manager said. "Don't make any mistakes tomorrow."
"Yes." Donghyuck bowed.
The manager stormed out of the room, and everyone turned to look at Donghyuck. Donghyuck was looking down as he grabbed his mask and walked out of the practice room too.
He felt like crying. He didn't cry really easily but the past few days have been really tiring and he was really frustrated and stressed.
He just quietly went to the dorms, and locked himself up in his room. Johnny immediately knew something was up so he just decided to give him space.
Meanwhile, the girls were also preparing for their comeback, when Rae felt something was off. Haechan hadn't texted her all day, nor had he called. He just texted her once in the morning, which was a good morning. Nothing else. And it was weird of him since he called her every hour for updates on how her day was going and updates on his day.
She grabbed her phone and dialled his number.
"Hello?" His voice came from the other end.
"Hi, are you at the dorms?" She asked.
"Yeah...manager hyung gave us a break." He said.
"Did you eat?" She asked.
"No." He said.
"Okay, I'll be there in some time." She chuckled. "I love you."
"I love you more." He chuckled.
Something was definitely up. Rae could just understand it by the way he was talking. She decided to go and meet him so that he could relax and open up a bit, but she wouldn't force him. Donghyuck didn't like to open up about his stress because he didn't want to worry anyone, so she never forced him to say anything.

Donghyuck had started to fall asleep, when he heard the room's door opening. He thought it was Johnny so he kept his eyes closed.
But then he knew it was someone else, when he could smell the same scent which was on some of his tshirts that Rae borrowed. Those arms wrapped around his waist as she placed small kisses on the side of his head.
"Wake up. Eat something, and then we'll sleep together." She whispered in his ear. He chuckled and turned to look at her. And there she was wearing his tshirt.
He pulled her closer till she was on top of him and he mumbled, "Can we stay like this for sometime?"
She kissed his forehead. "Of course."
"I think you missed my lips." He teased, puckering his lips for a kiss.
She laughed as she captured his lips with hers.
