Mark had come to support the girls as they shot their music video, mostly because of Naomi. The two had grown closer as they spent a lot of time together.
As he walked into the set, he greeted Dri, who was on a wheelchair.
"How are you going to shoot?" He asked.
"Oh, don't worry, I can stand." She said. "Naomi's inside."
Mark smiled awkwardly and went to where Naomi was.
"Hey." He said, making Naomi look up from her phone.
"Oh, hey~" She smiled. "Come sit."
"I'm so excited for your album." He said. "Can I get a hint about your song please?"
He made puppy eyes.
"No." She chuckled.
"What's up, though? Are Jisung, Renjun and Haechan okay now?" She asked, referring to what happened in the airport.
"Yeah...I think." He sighed, and closed his eyes.
"Are you tired?" She asked.
"No." He looked at her.
"Mark." She raised her eyebrow.
"What?" He asked.
"Nevermind." She sighed. "All I'm saying is, please don't overwork yourself, okay?"
His eyes softened, and he nodded. They held eye contact for some time, as his eyes flickered down to her lips for a fraction of second.
He looked up into her eyes, as if asking for permission, to which she replied by looking at his lips.
He started leaning in, and so did she, but quickly pushed him away, when she saw Rae walk inside.
"I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE ALBUM." His voice came out a bit louder than expected.
"Y'all okay?" Rae eyed them.
"Yeah." Naomi and Mark quickly nodded.
