CHAPTER ONE, let's hang out!

It was another early morning in L.A. I was at home, still laying in bed from waking up thirty minutes ago. I hadn't checked my phone yet, I was still too tired to even care to look at it. I was still catching myself slowly falling in and out of sleep every few minutes.

Last night, I had been out late. I was at an event, which I spent the night partying and socializing. As soon as I got home, I washed myself up and went straight into bed, and fell right asleep.

I finally sighed and rolled over, trying to wake myself up more. I wanted to be productive today, which I was on a roll with. I began to stretch my body out, letting out a loud yawn at the same time. I rubbed my eyes, staring out the window on the other side of my bed. The sun began to wake me up fully as I stared out the window.

I then finally reached over to my nightstand, grabbing my phone. It was only eight-thirty in the morning, I went to bed maybe around three in the morning last night... I don't know how I'm awake. I ignored any text messages and went checked my social media platforms. I'll reply to the messages later.

After a few minutes, I finally went to the imessage app. I got a few texts from people, basically mutuals of mine, my closest friend Jasmine, and some other things I had to take care of. Then, I saw I had a text from someone I hadn't talked to in a while, Danny Duncan. It immediately caught my eye of how random of him it was to text me just a few minutes ago.

Danny didn't reply back instantly, making me wait for a minute. Finally, I began to get an incoming call... call, he wanted to talk instead of text. I softly sighed to myself, then cleared out my throat in case for a morning voice.

I answered the phone, "hellooo?"

"Brielle! Long time no talk," Danny's voice sounded excited and happy, "how's it been?"

"It's been good... what about you? I know you've been having a good time, I've been keeping up with your videos," I laughed, "you're crazy, Danny. What's up?"

"What are you doing right now?"

"What do you want?"

Danny let out a chuckle, "the reason why I randomly hit you up is because I was going through my camera roll last night and I saw an old picture of us... so I just thought, why not hit her up? You know? Gotta check up on old friends here and there."

"Last time we hung out or even talked... was months ago," I teased, "last time we texted was actually about two months ago."

"Aye, now. Don't make it seem like we lost contact. What are your plans for today? I know it's still like, fucking, nine in the morning right now." Danny asked.

"Uh, nothing, I don't think," I said, "I was gonna probably go grocery shopping soon."

"Great, let's hang out today- we could go grocery shopping together!" Danny quickly suggested, "we're filming today anyways, so..."

I immediately knew that he was most likely filming us talking on the phone together at the moment. There was a quick moment of silence before I spoke again... I sucked my teeth, "you're filming right now as we speak, aren't you?"

Danny laughed, "yes, I am- how'd you know?!"

"Because you always are," I laughed with him, "but-"

Danny cut me off in mid sentence, "I'll literally pay you to hang out with me... like what I do with fucking Jake," Danny said with a mockery tone, in a joking way, "I just, I just wanna see you... you know, it's been long! Thousand bucks!"

"Danny, no, you don't gotta pay me nothing! Of course I'm gonna hang out with you, I don't bitch out like Jake," I joked around causing Danny to laugh, "I'm just kidding... but I wanna see you too!"

"I miss you, the guys miss you, everyone misses you!"

"It's hard to not miss me," I said, "so I get it."

Danny hummed, "does...twelve sound good? I can come pick you up, too."

"Alright, just text me. I'll see you soon then!"

"Alright, you too, bye."

Danny was the first one to hang up. I got out of bed, plugging my phone into the charger since it wasn't charging overnight. I needed to get ready soon, just in case it takes me a while.

I headed to the bathroom, to get ready for the day. I was a bit nervous, yet at the same time, I knew I had no reason be. It wasn't my first time with Danny, it's just been a while. We've been friends for years, we both grew so close to each other. When we first met, it just so happened that we began to build a good friendship.

We were close enough to have rumors and allegations, but they grew to understand that we were just friends. It was never a surprise in the world of influencers, people just spread things quick. Of course people still joke about it, but they knew it was just all jokes regardless.

Now for the first time in months, we're finally going to hang out again instead of communicating over a phone. I don't know why we haven't hung out in so long, but that didn't get in the way. Most likely, he's just been busy with everything.

"Is Danny and Brielle still friends?" "We haven't seen them together in a while." "What happened to Bri and Danny?" Blah, blah, blah.

After I was done in the bathroom taking care of my personal hygiene, I went back to my room. I picked up my phone, remembering that Jasmine had texted and I needed to reply quickly... she hates when I reply late.
