CHAPTER FOUR, pop-pops!

BRIELLE,

I was at Danny's house, somewhere I haven't been in a long time. Danny and I planned to hang out again after hanging out yesterday. After he left yesterday, he texted me to come to his house in the morning. Early, to be exact. Everyone was already here as we all just sat and stood around. I was standing around the island counter in the kitchen with Aaron eating breakfast.

"It's nine in the morning," I heard Danny suddenly start to talk, "look at Aaron and Brielle eating."

Danny pointed towards me and Aaron, making Alex turn the camera on us. I covered my mouth while smiling at the same time. Aaron looked up at the camera and continued to eat.

"Danny, stop it." I said with a slight laugh.

Danny let out a laugh, and Alex turned the camera back on him. "But anyways, we also got Jake to finally fucking hang out with us... ONLY because he saw that Brielle was with us... un-fucking-believable."

The camera then turned over to Jake, who was sitting back on the couch. Jake had a big smile on his face, "it's been a while since I've see her!"

The camera then went back to Danny, "I think that bitch has a crush on her."

"Crush? That's okay, you know? If the man got a crush, let em' have a crush!" Roscoe butted in, making all of us laugh. "Unless you're jealous, huh?" He teased Danny.

"Roscoe, dude, shut up," Danny said in a slight embarrassed way. "Let's start heading out now."

Alex turned off the camera, and everyone began to get everything together. Aaron and I finished up our food, throwing away our trash and cleaning up the table. I then went to go use the bathroom before we headed out. The rest of Danny's friends began to leave the house, waiting outside in the garage.

After I used the bathroom, I walked back into the kitchen to grab my things I left on the counter. Danny was there waiting for me, holding my purse in his hands. I walked up to him, taking it from his hands.

"You ready?" Danny asked me.

"Yeah, let's go." I smiled at him, throwing my purse over my shoulder.

Danny followed behind me as we made our way out to the garage. I then felt his hand suddenly rest on my lower back as we walked, he gently tapped on it before taking his hand away. I gently smiled to myself from the rush of excitement I felt.

"Where's your girlfriend?" I asked Aaron as we walked side by side. "Did she not want to come along this time?"

"Nah, she had things to do today," Aaron shook his head, "finally you're spending time with us again... you haven't been around us for a while."

"I know, everyone keeps saying that! But I'm here now!"

Suddenly, I heard a popping noise, causing Aaron and I to look back. Aaron began to touch his back lightly, but we both didn't think any of it, so we continued the convo.

"So Danny's just keeping you around for the rest of the week?" Aaron asked.

"Well yeah, he wanted to..."

"I figured." Aaron scratched the back of his head. "But—"

I heard a pop again, causing that to make Aaron stop his sentence. Aaron began to rub his lower back, having an irritating look on his face. We both looked back, seeing Danny and the guys laughing while Alex had the camera on us. Danny had a handful of pop-pops, eventually making me laugh.

"Dude, stop!" Aaron shouted, "it hurts!"

"They hurt? No they don't!" Danny argued back. "Stop being a baby."

"I'm not! It actually hurts when it pops!"

Danny lifted his hand up, causing me to quickly run away before he got to throw the handful at us. I ran around, stopping by Danny's side. Danny threw the rest of the pop-pops at him, making Aaron let out a loud groan.

"Seriously, dude, stop!" Aaron shouted even louder, expressing more anger. "Gosh dang it!"

Danny began to laugh even harder, putting his arm around my shoulder. He bent down a bit, bringing me down with him. I grabbed his hand that was hanging off of my shoulder.

"Danny, stop being so mean to him," I said while laughing as well. "Aaron, c'mon it's not that bad!"

"Why didn't you throw any at her?! I was next to her!" Aaron pointed at me. "You threw all of them at me!"

Danny kept his arm around as I still held his hand. Danny shook his head, "he's just being dramatic, like always," Danny looked at the camera, "we finally bring her around and all of a sudden all of them are acting like pussies."

The sun was down, it was finally night again in LA. Everyone hung out in front of Danny's house, after we've been out all day. We all walked around downtown, Danny and Aaron did some skating, Jake was able to look at knives, and more... it was a pretty full day. I leaned against Danny's car, listening to all of them talk to each other.

"Are you sure you don't wanna come out with us Danny?" A friend of his asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Danny nodded. "I'm just gonna stay home, we've been out all day anyways... plus I need to edit all the videos."

"Alright," Kewon said, "we'll see you later then. Text us. You don't wanna come with us, Bri?"

All of their heads turned towards me, waiting for an answer. "No, it's okay. I'm just gonna hang with Danny for the rest of the night."

We all said goodbye to each other, watching one car drive off one by one. I stood next to Danny with my arms crossed watching them as they waved bye. Once they all left, it was now just Danny and I. He gave me a nod, and we both turned around to head back inside of the house. Danny closed the door behind us, making sure it was locked.

"The house is so quiet without it being full for once." I said, walking into his living room.

"I know, I always have a group of people following me around... there's only certain times where I have quiet times to myself." Danny said as he sat down next to me on the couch.

"I bet."

Danny turned on the tv, handing me the remote. He grabbed his MacBook that was on the couch, setting it down on his lap. He was focused on that as I was focused on the tv. I got more comfortable on the couch, feeling myself become more relaxed. I laid towards Danny more, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Did you have fun today?" Danny asked me, breaking the silence.

"Of course, I always have fun when I'm around you."

"Good, I hope so... just gotta get this damn video edited and shit," he let out a light chuckle, "when's the last time you uploaded?"

I sighed, "like almost two months ago. I've been procrastinating so bad." 

"Uh oh, youtuberitis is kicking in."
