CHAPTER TWO, i missed you.

BRIELLE,

I had got a text from Danny saying that he was less than five minutes away. I hurriedly jogged downstairs, holding onto my purse and my shoes in the other hand. I made sure my house was secure and everything was turned off. I was nervous, but I wasn't so sure why... maybe because it's been a while. Just the thought of seeing Danny after so long, made me feel all geeked.

Right as I was done putting on my shoes, I got a text from Danny... I already knew he was here. As I stood by the front door, I heard a car door close. I opened my front door, immediately turning around to close and lock it. I turned around to walk down the sidewalk path, leading to the end of my property.

"BRI!" Danny smiled with his arms in the air.

As I approached him more, he walked closer to me at the same time. I opened my arms, wrapping my arms around his neck, slightly standing on my tippy-toes. Danny hugged me back, giving me a tight squeeze around my lower back. His chin rested on my shoulder, as mine rested on his. Alex stood beside us holding a camera, recording the whole thing.

"Danny!" I said while I hugged him.

Danny pulled away from the hug, "I missed you. Dude, it's been so long," Danny put an arm around me, turning both of us towards the camera, "it's been fucking months, maybe fucking years, since I've seen her... always flakes out on me, dude. Just like Jake." Danny joked.

"False. I never flake out," I said to the camera, causing him to softly laugh. "Danny just doesn't put effort into the friendship anymore. He ghosted me."

"Wow," Danny took his arm off of me, shaking his head, "that's— I didn't ghost you, you're just turning this shit on me, being gaslighted and shit... I'm just fucking with you." He smiled while laughing and grabbing onto my shoulder.

I shook my head, nudging his arm. Danny opened his car door for me, letting me get in. I got in, sitting down inside of his Tesla. Alex sat got in the backseat, while Danny got into the drivers seat. The cameras around Danny are always rolling, but there's more times where they don't.

"Aye," I heard from the backseat. I turned around seeing Kewon. "You're not gonna say hi to me?"

"Kewon!" I smiled, reaching into the back. "My bad, I didn't know you were here too! Only Alex and Danny got out of the car." I grabbed onto his hand, giving it a tight squeeze.

"Kewon, stop flirting with her," Danny said in a joking way, "damnit, Kewon."

Kewon made a defensive facial expression, "nobody was flirting, damn!" Kewon let go of my hand, and I sat back down regularly on my chair on the passenger seat.

"Did you eat yet?" Danny asked me as he began to drive off.

"No, not yet."

"Good, let's go eat first, I'm fucking starving. I was hoping you didn't eat yet, I wanted to take you out to eat first."

"Oh? And you wanna say I'm the one flirting?" Kewon teased Danny.

I smiled, looking over at Danny. "Such a hypocrite, Daniel." I teased him as well, playfully pinching his side. Danny flinched at my touch, while chuckling.

I could tell Danny got a bit flustered. Danny laughed it off, looking in the mirror to the backseats, "shut up, Kewon."

I looked back over to the backseats, towards Alex. I shook my head as I stared into the camera. Alex had a slight smile on his face as he held the camera.

We all sat around the table at the restaurant. A few of Danny's other friends showed up as well, they showed up together in another car. I said hi to all of them, and introduced myself to the ones I haven't met in person before. My eyes stared down at the menu, but I already knew I was going to get the same meal. I look over it every time, just in case I change my mind. I closed the menu, looking back up.

"What's are you gonna get?" Danny asked me, tapping my shoulder.

"Same thing as always." I replied back to him.

Danny shook his head, "every time. She never changes her choice, it's always the same thing whenever we come here... she basically looks over the menu for no reason!" Danny said to the camera.

"You know what, shut up. You act like you don't get the same thing too!"

"Yeah, but I don't look over the menu like I'm going to change my mind."

After a few minutes, Alex finally turned the camera off. Danny and his friends began to talk with each other, I engaged into their convos as well. I got along with them pretty well, so I had no problem. I quiet down for a bit, looking through my phone. I decided to check my phone, just in case I got any messages in any sort.

I then suddenly felt a light tap on my arm. Danny suddenly rested his head on my shoulder, holding his phone in his hand with his camera opened. I rested my head on top of his, showing off a smile as I looked down at his phone.. He took the picture, then picked his head back up, sitting back normally on his chair. He and I made eye contact, before looking away.

I then got a notification from Instagram, Danny mentioning me on his story. It was the picture of us, with typing that said, "finally got to link with this girl after so long ❤️"

I turned to Danny, "this is why people think we're secretly hooking up." I showed him my phone while laughing.

Danny shrugged, "oh well."

"Bro," Kewon said to me, "you gotta try these, these good as fuck."

"I know! I tried them once, these are good. Put them in the cart." I signaled him to grab one of the boxes off the shelves.

"Right now, we're grocery shopping with Brielle... she needed to go grocery shopping today, so I decided to take her. Kewon is like her little helper," I heard Danny say behind me, "look."

Alex then turned the camera to Kewon, showing him putting the groceries into the cart. Kewon stopped and stared at the camera, making Danny wheeze.

We began to walk down the isles as I got what I needed. The whole time, Danny fucked around with Kewon while I did my shopping. Alex was filming the whole time, like always. It was fun being with them, so I wasn't complaining.

I felt a soft tap on my back, "are you almost done yet? We've just been following you and fucking around the whole time," Danny laughed, "she's like a mom and we're the sons that just fuck around the whole time while the mom grocery shops."

"Yes, I'm almost done... I just need a few more things."

"Take your time though, no ones rushing you." He said.
