CHAPTER THREE, fun day.

BRIELLE,

After the grocery shopping, Danny took me back home. Danny, Alex, and Kewon helped me bring the groceries from the car, into my house. My kitchen island was covered with the groceries. I went through the bags, taking the groceries out and putting the empty bags into a drawer. Danny walked over to my side, grabbing the egg carton.

I turned to him, "be careful with it, put it on the fridge's second shelf—"

Suddenly, he pretended to drop it, causing me to gasp and bend down to catch it as a reflex. Danny wheezed, standing back up straight while holding the carton safely in his hands. Danny looked at the camera, while he was still laughing.

"Danny!" I said, "damnit!" I irritatedly slapped his arm lightly.

Danny put the eggs into the fridge and began to put away more of the groceries. "I don't get why you need to get so much stuff, you live alone."

"Yeah, but I sometimes have people over... like Jasmine, friends, and family. Plus, I need to eat too!" I said, and Danny, Kewon, and I continued to put away the groceries.

After a while, Alex turned the camera off, "hey, Brielle, mind if I sit in the living room for now?"

I turned to Alex and nodded, "yeah, of course. Go ahead."

Alex nodded, and walked off. Kewon followed behind Alex, leaving me and Danny alone in the kitchen. Danny leaned on the kitchen island table, resting his elbows on the table as he bent down. He was on his phone, going through messages and his social media.

"Look at all these DM's I'm getting from fans," Danny said, making me turn around. I stood next to him, looking at all the messages with him. Danny laughed, "they're crazy."

It was nothing new, by now Danny and I had be used to it. They never took us seriously, at all. We didn't pay much attention to it anymore.

"That's always their first thought, that we're fucking or something... can a guy and a girl just not be friends?" I playfully rolled my eyes, walking away from his side, "but thank you for taking me out today."

Danny turned off his phone, standing back up straight. "Yeah, no problem. I missed hanging out with you." Danny put his hands into his sweatpants pockets, leaning his back against the counter.

I stood across from him, leaning against the counter as well, "me too. How long are you staying in LA until you go back to Florida?"

"Uh," Danny scratched the top of his head, "I'd say a week or so. My stay here this time is way shorter than usual. First day back here, I'm hanging with you."

I smiled, crossing my arms together, "it's crazy how you're always going back and forth... you're really living the best life out here, huh?" I stood up off of the counter, reaching my arm over to Danny. I playfully punched his chest softly, causing him to smile as well.

"Why don't we hang out together for the rest of the week, then?" Danny suggested. "If you don't have any plans, of course."

"Yeah, of course we can. I doubt I will have any plans anyways," I nodded. "Plus, more free merch." I joked, causing Danny to laugh.

"What have you been doing lately? Just doing your own thing? For the last months, I've only been seeing your social media... we haven't really caught up with each other face to face."

"I've been good. Just, staying to myself." I shrugged.

"Why don't you ever hang out with people? You have plenty of mutuals right?" Danny asked, "that's why I'm surprised you and I are even friends like this."

"I do go out, I literally just went out last night. I have mutuals and I have my own group of friends... like you," I shrugged my shoulders. "But I'm not around them twenty-four-seven...and it's because it's you. You're one of the least problematic influencers out there."

"I know, I see your little group... and then you and Jasmine is just like me and Kewon?" Danny smiled at me, chuckling at the end of his question.

"Mhm, perfect analogy," I nodded, "the rest of our friends, we talk to them here and there. It's not a bad thing, but we're not in each others bubbles all the time."

Danny sighed, "yeah, I get it though. This, that, this," he shook his head, "I mean, the YouTubers community isn't so bad... okay, I'm lying, but, we're perfectly fine."

I looked at him dumbfounded, "let's be real here, now. Social media is a scary place," I chuckled, "you know how fast drama always comes around. We're only fine because we aren't always in the mix."

"So you're that type of influencer that just stays out of the way, huh? No wonder why everyone fucking loves you... you don't ever do shit."

"Hey," I cockily smiled, "you'll never catch me in no damn scandal or drama. I love my peace."

"Well, we're not dumbasses and shit like everyone else," Danny joked. He reached his arms out to me, "come here."

I walked closer to Danny, allowing him to take me into his arms. He hugged me, resting his head on top of mine. I hugged him back, squeezing him tighter than he did to me.

"Oh," I pulled away from the hug, "I have to pay you back for lunch today."

"Oh, nah, it's all good," Danny shook his head, "don't worry about it."

"No, no—"

"Bri, it's okay. Don't worry about it," Danny rubbed my back with one hand, "c'mon, let's go in the living room... see what Alex and Kewon are doing."

We four sat around on the couches in my living room. Everyone seemed tired from today, but it wasn't even too late. It was only nine at night. But since we were all just relaxing while watching tv, we got tired. Kewon was the only one asleep, he was softly snoring. Danny made Alex start recording him, as Danny began to pick on him.

"Danny, leave him alone," I softly said with a slight laugh, "he's gonna piss on you the next time you fall asleep around him." I joked.

Danny quietly laughed, continuing to bother Kewon. Kewon slowly woke up, immediately seeing the camera. A slight smirk showed up on his face as he sat up from the couch.

"Stop," he said with a smile still on his face, "I'm gonna kill you, bro."

"C'mon, we're heading out now," Danny said, "wake up!"

Kewon got up, as well as me and Alex. Alex followed behind the three of us towards the front door. I walked them out to my front porch, standing besides Danny's car. The camera was still rolling, recording everything.

Danny pulled me into a hug, "I had fun with you today," Danny rubbed my back as he hugged me, "I'll maybe hit you up again some other time this week."

I hugged him tightly, then pulled away the same time as him. "I had fun too... that was the most fun I had in weeks."

"Yeah, cause you don't ever do shit!" Danny said in a sarcastic way, "everyone loves time with Danny."

I laughed, "I'll see you again soon, then. Get home safely." I hugged Kewon and Alex as well, before they both went into the car.

"I will, bye, Bri!" Danny waved before he got into his car.

"Bye!"
