CHAPTER TWELEVE, everything's a date!

BRIELLE,

After my shower, I decided to hang out by myself outside. Everyone else was inside just lounging around inside of the house. I called my mom, since she was texting me today about how she didn't know I wasn't in Cali at the moment. We talked for a good thirty minutes before we hung up, since it was late in cali already. I forget about time differences.

I yawned, stretched my arms out, allowing my body to stretch out. I was tired, but I was also waiting for us to go get food.

I suddenly then faintly heard someone yell, "what the fuck!" From inside of the house, followed by laughter.

I just knew they were fucking around with each other inside of the house again. There was a loud thump that sounded like someone or something hit a wall. I laughed to myself, shaking my head.

Just as I was about to walk back to the garage door, the door flew open and Danny came jogging out laughing.

"What are you guys doing in there?" I laughed, shaking my head.

"Just fucking around."

He played with his hair, shaking his head to move his wet hair to the side. He reached into his pocket, taking out his car keys and unlocking his car.

"Cmon, let's go get something to eat, me and you," He nodded his head towards his car as he walked past me. "Don't worry about the guys, they said they were just gonna order something. I told them I was gonna take you out to eat."

"Oh, okay," I said, "well, let me go grab my purse really quick."

Danny gave me a nod and I jogged to the door. I walked past the guys in the living room, going to my room. I quickly grabbed my purse off of the night stand, closing the door behind me as I walked back out. As I walked past the living room/kitchen again, they looked at me. Kewon gave me a look, causing the both of us to smile before I walked out of the house.

Danny was standing next to the passenger door, which was already open. He looked up from his phone, moving out of the way for me to get in.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

When I got it, he closed the door, walking over to the driver seat. He began to pull out of the driveway, "anything specific you wanna eat?"

I shook my head, "no."

"Okay, I knew you weren't going to, so... I already have a place."

I sat back in the chair, scrolling through my social media. I saw a lot of tags from fans who wanted to take pictures at the beach today. I added some to my story, along with some that the guys posted today. Suddenly, I felt the car jerk hard, causing me to take my attention off of my phone.

I gasped, pressed my hand against the door, turning my attention at Danny. I heard soft giggles coming from him. I looked at him, seeing his phone out while he recorded from his front camera. He finally let out a loud laugh as I looked at the camera. He put his phone down, finally turning his whole attention on the road.

"Don't do that!" I exclaimed, playfully hitting his arm.

He lightly flinched from the hit, "you were too focused."

After a few more minutes of Danny playing around while driving, he pulled into a parking lot, a place where there was a lineup of mini shops and places to eat. We got out of the car, walking towards the structures together.

"That shit was good," Danny patted his stomach, letting out a burp. "Sorry, excuse me."

"You always know places that have good food," I said, "you definitely do get out more than I do. Thank goodness we're friends."

"For a little too long... I've known you so long that I get tired of being around you sometimes. There's nothing ever new."

"Wow?! But who was the one that wanted to bring me here?" I said with a shocked tone, "fly me back to LA. I want to be on a plane back by tomorrow."

Danny laughed, "Well, you're having fun, right?"

"Yeah, of course. You guys keep me entertained throughout the whole day," I laughed, "never a boring moment."

"Okay good. You became quiet after a little at the beach. I don't want you to feel left out or anything."

"No! I was just having a relaxed moment," I reassured him, "I was having fun too, I was messing around with you guys."

"I'm just making sure!"

"It would be nice to have another girl around, though." I jokingly sighed.

"Hey, dude, I don't hang around girls that's much. Sorry," he put his hands up in defense. "Only sometimes, but that's because they know who I hang around, and they get brought around sometimes."

I raised an eyebrow at him, earning a head shake back from him. "Okay." I dragged out the word.

When got closer to the car, he jogged to open the passenger door for me, "c'mon passenger princess, get in."

The ride back to the house was quiet, with the faint sound of music playing from the radio station. My eyes began to get heavy. Being tired and eating a good meal only made me even more tired. I yawned while shuffling in my seat. After a few minutes of me with my eyes closed, I felt a light tap on my knee.

"We're here."

I grabbed our leftover plates from the back before we both got out of the car. I sluggishly walked towards the garage, standing in front of the car waiting for Danny to walk with me. He closed the driver door, locking his car.

"Thank you for dinner tonight."  I thanked him.

"Of course!"

Danny playfully opened his arms wide and I did the same thing. I wrapped my hands around his neck, as he hugged my lower back. He tightly hugged me, lifting me a little off the ground. He squeezed me so tight that I let out a gasp. Our grips loosened, but he kept the hug in tact.

"Don't worry about paying me back either, you always do that."

"Was this a date, Danny?" I joked with him.

"I consider everything a date with you."

I leaned back, allowing us to be face to face. "That's okay, I'll get you back for it soon," I smiled, "you know why? Because your birthday is coming up soon!" I exclaimed.

He let out a small sigh, "damnit. You never forget."

"Duh? I say happy birthday to you every year."

"Never missed a year."

Suddenly, the garage door flew open, making me and Danny turn our heads quickly. Kewon came walking out, dragging a full trash bag with him. He looked at us with a surprised facial expression, looking like he was a little embarrassed.

"Oh shit," he walked towards us. "My bad... I just had to throw out the trash. I didn't know y'all were here." He slowly walked past us, avoiding eye contact.

Danny and I both let go of each other, chuckling at him walking away from us.

"It's okay, Kewon," I said, "we were just—"

"Yeah, thanks for ruining my romantic moment man," Danny joked, "it didn't even reach the kiss part yet and you fucked it up."

"Why don't you ever show us affection like that?" Kewon joked back, "we all like romantic things too you know. You're only nice to her."

"Alright, come here, then." Danny quickly began to walk up to Kewon, puckering his lips up.

Kewon jogged trying to get away from him, "Aye, relax."

Danny let out a wheeze while I laughed at them, following behind them inside of the house. "I'm gonna head to sleep now," I yawned, "goodnight, I'll see you guys in the morning."
