"Hi Val"
Valerie stopped dead in her place. She knew that voice anywhere. Slowly looking up, she was met with a man. Not any man, he was tall with dark curls and dark eyes. A man that Valerie had come to know all too well recently.
"Corpse?" Valerie asked. She consciously knew that it was him, but her mind was telling her it was all a trick. He wore a black face mask, assuming he wasn't fully ready to expose himself like that to her yet. (an get your head out of the gutter ya nasties)
"Hi," he spoke again. Valeries mouth dropped. It really was him.
Not taking anytime to figure out how she got to this moment, she ran and jumped onto the tall figure, crushing him with the biggest hug. He chuckled, returning the favor. To say they both were nervous was an understatement. The rush of anxiety in the room was like a tsunami at its highest peak. Neither of them wanted to let the other down.
"See we told you it was a good surprise!" Poki laughed, entering the room as well along with Rae. Valerie chuckled, letting go of Corpse when she forgot she was still holding onto him. The three went out into his living room, catching up on anything they could think of.

"Hey, we're close to the OTV house, do y'all want to go to the party they're throwing tonight?" Rae asked the group who had been watching some anime on Corpse's tv. Valerie looked around the room as Poki agreed to go. Her eyes met with Corpse's which seemed to be pleading her to stay with him.
After a second Corpse spoke up, "I don't think I have the mental energy for that right now." Poki and Rae being the understanding people they are agreed with him. Then, everyone in the room turned to Valerie, as she noticed Corpse still had the look on his face.
"I think I'm gonna stay here. I have a headache," She lied, as Corpse slightly smiled. Rae and Poki made sure she was okay, before giving her a wink and walking out the door.
Valerie turned to finally examine the man who was sat in front of her. He was muscular but not too built. He had dark brown curls that seemed to fall perfectly over his face. His eyes, god his eyes. They were probably Valerie's favorite feature of his. They also happened to be brown, but they were warm. Looking into them, Valerie felt a tingle shoot down her body. They felt almost welcoming, like a feeling of the home Valerie wasn't fortunate enough to have in her past. It gave Valerie a slight sense of nervousness, having never felt this way about anything else before. Was she falling? Maybe, but she wouldn't admit that to herself just yet.
On the other hand, Corpse was too nervous to even glance in Valerie's direction. He could see her eyeing him from his peripheral vision and it made his heart race even more. He couldn't believe he had let her in. Let her come to his house when no one had before. Once he saw that she was distracted, it was now his turn to eye the girl. She was beautiful, and her style was amazing. She wore an entire black outfit, no fancy logos, nothing to show off other than the pairs of chains hanging from her pant line. (Outfit at top) Her blonde hair hung over the sides of her shoulders, as she moved it slightly out of her way. She was perfect; mesmerizing.
Corpse saw her suddenly shudder slightly, and he stood up right away.
"You alright?" Valerie asked, as she sat on his couch. She was cold, evidence left by the goosebumps that had now riddled her arms.
"Yeah, I was just gonna go get you a jacket if you wanted, you look cold," He chuckled, now finally making eye contact with the girl. Her blue eyes piercing through his brown ones.
"We could cuddle and watch a movie instead," She answered shyly, looking down at the floor. Corpse's heart skipped a beat. He wasn't expecting that.
"You wanna cuddle in that?" He laughed as he looked down at the cargo pants and the chains that hung perfectly on her body.
"I mean its worth it if I get to be close to you,"

A couple minutes later, Corpse sat alone, his leg bouncing as he waited on the girl. She was changing in his room into some sweats he let her wear to be comfortable even when she said she was fine.
He heard the door slightly creak open as his nerves spiked again. She walked down the hallway, back to the beautiful man sitting on his couch. He had turned on The Conjuring, which was great for Corpse since Valerie was easily scared, and he could almost tell.
"I hate scary moviesss," Valerie dragged out, sitting next to him on the couch.
"You'll be fine," he chuckled, hitting the start button. She cuddled up next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. Although they would slowly get closer over time. Corpse had made popcorn and set the bowl next to Val who seemed to be very excited about it. He loved her energy, and loved the way she got excited at the smallest things.
Halfway into the movie, Valerie was practically on top of Corpse. There had been three jump scares and she almost jumped eight feet in the air when the last one popped up. It amused Corpse, and Valerie could tell.
"Your mean," She giggled. At this point they were laying down, Corpse's hand on the small of Valeries back rubbing light circles, while Valerie listened to the sound of his heartbeat. It was getting late, but neither of them wanted the night to end, neither wanting to leave the presence of the other.
With the serenity of the moment, Valeries eyes became heavy, and just like that she was asleep.
