Valerie didn't know what to do. Her and Corpse had just had an amazing couple of days together, and all the sudden it felt like none of that mattered. Like nothing happened between them. Maybe it was just the alcohol telling her, or maybe it was because she couldn't stop thinking about why Corpse would do it to her. She had done nothing but try and prove her worthiness.

Flashback POV

Valerie had just gotten back from the store, in her shared apartment with her boyfriend of eight months. As far she knew, things between them were good. They had moved in together shortly after Valerie started college. They were happy, or so she thought.

Setting down the groceries on the counter, she wondered where he was. So she yelled for him.

"Adam, come help me put away groceries please!" She shouted from the kitchen. There was no response. So she shouted again, but yet there was still nothing said back.

Valerie made her way up the stairs of her old apartment, not knowing where he was. Until she saw something peculiar. A bright pink bra, size double d, sitting on the second to last step. Commotion could also be heard from her room.

  "No way,"

So she continued, until she reached the door of her and Adam's shared room. She listened in, hearing two voices and one of which was Adam. So she stormed in.

"What the hell is going on in here?" She screamed, tears brimming her eyes. Adam shoved the girl off his lap as she proceeded to get dressed.

"Baby it's not what it looks like," He answered.

"Don't baby me Adam, it's exactly what it looks like," She answered, "I want both of you out. Now."

"You can't kick me out, this is my home," Adam insisted.

"MY name is on the lease, get out."

END OF FLASHBACK

The next day, Valerie had come to the conclusion of the fact that Corpse didn't really want her. She had made that idea up in her head; because why would anyone want someone so broken and damaged like her?

She hadn't gotten out of bed. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to feel anything but the way she felt in that moment. So she did what she knew best, changed something about her appearance to make herself seem more confident. So she slumped out of bed, got ready and headed towards the front door.

"Hey Val! Poki and I are going to the OTV house, you coming along?" Rae asked.

"I'm good, I've got some things planned for today," She answered, her baggy sweatpants and giant hoodie most definitely let the girl know she was going through it.

"Actually, what are you doing today?"

"Planned on dying my hair and getting a whole new wardrobe," Valerie responded confused.

  "Let's do it together!"

After Rae and Valerie had gone shopping and grabbed hair dye from the hair beauty store, they went back to their house. They put all of the clothes in her closet and proceeded to head to their bathroom to dye her hair, until Rae had an idea.

"What if we stream it?" The brunette asked.

  "Uhh sure," Valerie responded.

So they proceeded to set up Rae's room in case any messes were made. They started the stream, greeting the audience and setting up their start.

"Hello chat!" Rae greeted, "today we'll be dying Valerie's hair!"

"Yes that is correct," Valerie hesitantly laughed.  As they started, Rae noticed that Corpse had joined and her chat went wild. Rae hesitated on telling Valerie; assuming the state she was in she just wanted her to feel better.

About an hour later, they had fully covered Valerie's hair with black hair dye. They were waiting on it to fully sit in her hair, so they decided to play truth or dare.

"Chat says Val truth or dare," Rae comments.

"uhhh truth," Valerie answers. They waited a couple seconds for a donation to come though.

"Samantha thank you for the donation! She says, are you interested in anyone right now?"

Valerie thought for a moment. Should she finally admit it to herself, as well as 400k viewers?

"Yeah," She paused, "they're very kind to me, and make me feel good about myself, they don't know yet I think."

Just then, the timer for her hair was up, so they ended the stream.

"CHECK MY INSTAGRAM FOR THE REVEAL!" Valerie screamed before Rae said bye to her chat.

On the other hand, Corpse was confused and anxious. He had been watching Rae's stream the entire time. He had watched as they covered Valerie's hair with black hair dye; a sign she was going through something.

He also watched them play the multiple rounds of truth or dare they played, and had heard Valerie's response to the question 'Are you interested in anyone right now?" And he was quiet nervous about her response. Corpse had finally admitted to himself that he had strong feelings for the girl and he needed to know if those feelings were reciprocated.

So suddenly, he found himself in his car, only 15 minutes away from Valerie's house. He didn't know what he was doing, seeing as the girl hadn't talked to him in two days since the drunken stream. What was he doing, she probably didn't even want to speak to him.

But it was too late, as he saw himself sitting in front of her apartment. What would he say? He didn't know, but he had to say something.

Valerie had just gotten out of the shower, and was blow drying her hair when she heard a knock at their door.

"I'll get it!" Rae yelled up to her from the kitchen. Rae walked over to the door, looking though the peephole to a familiar masked face. He looked stressed, Rae could tell instantly.

"Where is Valerie?" were the first words he spoke when he walked inside.

"She's upstairs, but I don't think she wants to see you," before Rae could even answer, he was already halfway up the staircase to Valerie's room.  He knocked gently on the door, as Valerie got up from her desk after finishing her hair. She opened the door, not expecting the familiar man to be there.

"Corpse?" She questioned, her heart racing.

"I need to know if you were talking about me," He spoke quickly.

  "What?"

"On stream, I need to know if you were talking about me when you were playing truth or dare," He asked again.

"Oh umm," Valerie thought for a minute. Should she admit it to the man finally? She weighed the pros and cons. Pro, he wouldn't flirt with other girls on stream. Con, she actually had to get the courage to say the words. "Yeah..."

His face lit up, his eyes sparkling with an emotion Valerie had never seen him have. He looked genuinely happy.
