So Valerie sat there, alone.
Her mind began to wander, why did he leave like that. Right after they just...
Her heart began to sting, when a river of emotions washed over her. Who called him? Was he okay? Where was he going?
She began to feel dizzy, so she made my way to his bathroom. She shed her clothing, and hopped in, letting the warm water tickle her back in the cold air. She rubbed her body, pretending that the water was washing away her worries. Her mother taught her this, before their relationship went down hill. It felt nice.

CORPSE'S POV
Corpse sprinted into the hospital, his heart beating a mile a minute. Jogging up to the front desk, Corpse probably scared the woman sitting there as she looked at him with a weird expression, he desperately tried to get the answer I needed. Clearing his throat, he began to speak in a low whisper.
"I'm here to see my mother, [insert random mom name here], you guys called and said she was here?" He spoke quickly and quietly, as to not draw attention to himself.
"Third floor, room 308," she shrugged back. Corpse took off for the elevator. (AN: I am making all of this stuff up about corpse's relationship with his mother just fyi)
Corpse hadn't seen his mom in five years. Not since he moved out when he was 18. He reminded her of his father who left when he was little, and even though she loved him, she still took it out on him because of it. Along with the severe health issues he faced, she just never took the time to really take care of him because of her own trauma.
As Corpse approached the door, his heart began to stutter, leaving him seemingly stuck to the doorknob. He didn't know what would happen when he walked through that door, but he dreaded the idea of even talking with her if he was honest.
As he opened the door, there he saw his mother, but at the same time, it wasn't. Her eyes looked sad, sunken, and her skin was paler than normal. She was sleeping, as a couple nurses tended to her.
"Hello Mr. [last name], glad that you came, your mother wasn't sure if you'd show up," the doctor spoke hesitantly. His demeanor came off as if he was holding something back.
"Well I'm here," Corpse answered. The doctor took a step back in shock of the so seemingly low voice everyone came to know and love.
"Your mother has stage three cancer," the doctor said bluntly, as a ringing started to form in Corpse's head.
"What?" Corpse was confused. His mother was a fighter. Always had been, always would be. She was one of the strongest people he knew, and knew that no matter what happened, she would always be okay. The doctor continued to speak although Corpse wasn't listening. He seemed to disassociate, like he was in his own world.
And then he blacked out.
