I write poems in bed
as the night unfurls itself
I count syllables
Staring at my screen.Weathered faces and exhausted eyes
everything seems wavy and distorted
Frustration, conflicts between words and analysis,
I look at somewhere on the horizon.A shining comfort draped in its colors
oceanic blues
violet lilacsEmotions transfigured into captivated focus,
as an artist enlightened by the strokes of paint.A foggy horizon.
