Funeral

Blue and bored slumps the slothful sea,
while the land vanishes behind me;
poisonous disaster pursues with fanatical fervor.

Someone just dropped an oar.
The situation is taking hold,
navigating is getting bold.

Rising high, grazing the clouds, a wave
who took you a w   a    y.
Prepare to cave!
I wish you could stay at bay for the day...

The boat drifts through the obscure night;
a tenacious tide,
                                         u b b
a meandering mess of b       l
                                        s     e
                     again.
Did I lose my acolyte?

Strangled by the horizon,
lying down, watching a new formed |p|r|i|s|o|n|,
the tides take me back to shore.

I don't feel safe anymore...
A line of questions ➵arrows➵,
while I dispose of those viscose clothes.

We plant a gravestone,
whispering a mellow tone,
in a lonely cemetery.

Encircling the corpse, already
they have gathered here today
to fray those thoughts monotonously gray.

"Do not stand at my grave and weep",
therefore I cry during my sleep;
the image of your body rotten by worms seeps in.

Your atoms simply return to the world with a grin!
Now, you belong to new elements created...
T-e-a-r-s for oceans transform into a cherished

body on the way to oblivion.
We are gathered like rainwater around a standing stone,
where bare skeletons dance with sorrow in the shadow

As my bashful tongue echoes my

thoughts in a cr
Warm chords soothe my wounded tissue,
while r-a-i-n in my eyes blurs my view.

I saw your figure standing on a dead tree
ready to dive; you were free.

Rough scars grind us out the funeral chorus,
and off we fly, to where no blows can bore us!
