Y/N's pov:
I woke up on the same couch from the previous night. Cat was sleeping next to me. I guess we both fell asleep during the movie and the others left us alone.
I stood up to go see if anyone else is awake. I opened the door and Jade burst inside.
"Could you be a little calmer? I just woke up." I said in my quiet morning voice.
"No. I want to talk to you." Jade firmly said.
"What about?"
"Yesterday."
"What about yesterday?" I said in confusion as my mind was still not fully awake.
"You kept moving my hand away from you and then you even switched places with Cat!" Jade shouted.
"So what? I wasn't in the mood. Are you not gonna respect that now?" I snapped back.
"Ok, I understand, I'm not a creep. But you were really cuddly with Cat."
"I'm pretty sure friends can cuddle and hug each other." I said.
"You guys seemed REALLY warmed up to each other. Maybe you guys have a thing going on." Jade stated.
"We don't. I have no interest in her. But why do you care? I don't recall us being a thing either." I shouted.
Jade stuttered as she struggled to form a response.
"Since you wanna keep everything so secret, I guess that's what you get." I shot at her.
Suddenly, I heard little sniffles. Jade and I both turned our head to the couch and noticed Cat awake, silently crying. She was probably panicking because of our arguing.
"Oh, Cat, I'm so sorry." I said as I wiped the tears off her face. "Come on, let's go see where everyone else is and we can be around good company."
Cat got up and we both started walking to the door. I gave Jade one last look before leaving the room. I was pretty mad inside, to say the least. I kind of regretted snapping at Jade though. I wanted to keep the relationship we had, I just didn't wanna keep it secret anymore.
Cat and I walked to Tori's living room. We saw Tori making breakfast for everyone.
"I heard shouting in there. Are you ok?" Andre asked.
"I'll be fine, don't worry. I made Cat upset, though." I sadly looked down at Cat, who was by my side. "Again, I'm so sorry." I said to Cat as I pulled her into a warm hug.
"I'm assuming the fight was with Jade. She was the only one not here with us besides you and Cat, but I know you would never fight with Cat." Tori said.
"Yeah. Jade got mad over something. It's not important though." I mumbled.
"I'm convinced there's something between you and Jade. Care to tell us?" Tori said.
"There is NOTHING between us." I stated. "Certainly not now." I whispered the last bit to myself.
"So, do you guys have any plans today?" Beck asked, trying to change the topic.
All of us carried on talking for a while. Tori eventually finished making breakfast and handed everyone their food.
"Uh, there's one more plate left. For Jade. But she is still not here." Tori said. "Could you go check on her, Y/N?"
"Can't someone else go instead? I don't feel like talking to her." I muttered.
"Oh come on, you're acting childish. You will have to talk everything out with her sooner or later." Beck chimed in.
"Later."
Beck sighed and went to go get Jade himself. A few minutes later, they both walked to the living room to join us. I glanced at Jade. I could tell by the look in her eyes said that she wanted to talk to me. I just rolled my eyes and ate my food. We all chatted for a while, but Jade and I mostly stayed silent.
"Alright guys, I'm gonna go now. My mom is back from her business trip and I want to see her." I said.
I hugged everyone, except Jade, of course, and left. I got in my car and turned up the music as loud as my ears could take. I drove home and entered the kitchen to see my mom.
"Hi sweetie." she smiled.
"Hey. How was the trip?" I asked.
"It was alright. I had to go to many meetings though."
I just listened to my mom talk about work. I was not interested at all, but it helped drown out my thoughts for a little.
After some time, I headed to my room. Once again, I blasted some loud music, just like I did in the car. All I was thinking about was Jade. I couldn't help but think I messed up with everything I said. I buried my face in my pillow and let the music overtake my worries. I felt a few taps on my shoulder and I knew it wasn't my mom.
"Go away, whoever you are." I shouted with my head still in the pillow.
"No." I heard the same voice I did this morning.
"Jade? What are you doing here?" I asked, taking my face out of my pillow and looking at her.
"I figured I should apologize. I got mad at you for nothing. I'm sorry." Jade softly said.
"That's alright. I forgive you." I smiled.
"Ok, good." Jade sighed with relief and sat down on my bed.
I turned off the loud music that was playing and got comfortable in Jade's hands. I placed my head on her chest. Just like the previous day, I felt so secure. Jade was so different from anyone else. She made me feel safe whenever she was around.
"Can I sing you a song?" Jade asked out of nowhere. "I wrote it myself."
"Yes please." I said.
Jade started singing the song with her angelic voice.
There is no upper hand
I'm giving you mine
It doesn't have to end up wasting your time
There's things that I could say
But hear it my way
I want to let you know that it's all okayI like your smile
But even introductions need to last awhile
Sometimes I don't know if I'm right or wrong
And in the end it seems like everything is worse when you're goneThere is no upper hand
I'm giving you mine
It doesn't have to end up wasting your time
There's things that I could say
But hear it my way
I want to let you know that it's all okay"Oh wow." I said when Jade finished singing. "It's beautiful. I love it so much."
"Thank you. You are the first one to hear it, actually."
I smiled and slightly tilted my head up to look at Jade. She smiled back at me and tucked a few strands of my hair behind my ear. We spent the day together, enjoying time in each other's presence.
