hotel room pt. 2 [5]

Y/N's pov:

I sat down in the uncomfortable chair. I started scrolling on social media to pass some time. I wasn't tired enough to sleep. Besides, I had no idea how I'd fall asleep on that chair.

It was getting late and all the shops and other places were closing, so I figured that I might as well change into my pajamas, since I wouldn't leave the hotel that day anymore. I grabbed my bag and went to the bathroom. I found a large shirt, but I couldn't find any suitable bottoms for sleeping. Shit. At least my shirt was big enough to cover up the fact that the only thing I was wearing besides it was my underwear.

I exited the bathroom, hoping Jade wouldn't pay attention to me. Of course, this bitch had to stare at me. She was looking at me so intensely, as if I was some sort of prey she was hunting. I stared right back at her to intimidate her. I guess it worked, since she quickly looked away. I sat back down on the chair.

"You aren't actually gonna sleep on that chair, are you?" Jade questioned.

"I am. Problem?" I shot back at her.

The room went silent for a bit.

"Do you want me to sleep next to you?" I made sure to emphasize the word 'want'.

"No I don't." Jade quickly said.

"Why did you get so defensive?" I asked, slightly smirking.

"What are you even talking about?"

"Oh so you DO want me to sleep with you." I teased.

I got up from my chair and started slowly walking to the bed as I continued teasing her. Jade kept getting defensive. I was in control and I loved it. It felt so pleasant to be the one that's teasing her, not the other way around.

I eventually reached the bed and lied down next to Jade. Earlier that day, I claimed there was no way I'm sleeping with Jade. Next thing I know, I was lying next to her. What got into me?

We both pulled the bed covers over our bodies. We were both facing each other. Jade was staring into my eyes, I was staring at her lips. My breathing pattern was shaky, there was too much tension. Jade was smirking the whole time. She subtly bit her lip and moved closer. She knew damn well what she was doing. I had no idea why she was so comfortable with me. That was only the third day of us seeing each other after more than one whole year. I wanted the next day to come faster, so I turned away from Jade and went to sleep.

I woke up with no one by my side. Jade was already up, doing something in the bathroom. I pulled out an outfit from my bag and started changing. I was struggling to clip my bra. I felt someone's soft hands help me. I jumped and turned around from fright. It was obviously Jade.

"Creep." I stated while quickly putting my shirt on.

"Jeez. I just wanted to help." she said, hiding her smirk.

"I don't need help, especially not from you."

I gathered my stuff and left the room. Tori asked everyone to meet her outside of the hotel, so that's where I headed. Cat, Tori, Beck, Andre and Robbie were all there. I guess me and Jade were the last ones. Jade was walking a few meters behind me. We all got into Beck's RV.

"So, how did you like sleeping with Jade?" Andre asked me.

"Never again."

"You lied down next to me on your own free will." Jade said.

"You were the one that wanted me to be next to you." I snapped.

"You were the one that stared at my lips."

This argument between us went on and on. Everyone was already sick of us. But I wasn't gonna accept defeat. Finally, Jade got tired of talking and stopped.

We ended up going straight home. That left me confused. I didn't understand what the point of this trip was. At least I got to be somewhere far from home.

I came back home and went straight to the kitchen. I was hungry as hell.

"How was the trip?" my mom wondered.

"It was ok. We didn't do much, we just went to a restaurant and then to the hotel we were staying at." I explained.

"That's still fun. Did you share a room with anyone or were you alone?"

"Uh.. I was alone." I lied.

I ate dinner and rushed to my room. I couldn't stop thinking about everything that happened. I didn't know if Jade was just teasing me or if she actually wanted to be next to me at night. And why did she help me clip my bra? That's way too intimate. Yeah, we dated, whatever, but we never had sex. We never even saw each other in just our underwear.

These events kept me up all night.
