tori's bathroom [24]

Y/N's pov:

Jade stayed the night at my place after we spent the whole day together. I woke up with her arms around me. I was so happy to finally feel that again. I missed it. I yawned and noticed Jade smile.

"Good morning baby." she whispered.

"I thought you were asleep." I said.

"No, I was just waiting for you to wake up." Jade got up.

"Hey! Come back!" I stuck my arms out, requesting for more cuddles.

"We have school and if I go back to bed, we will be late for sure."

"I don't care."

"No, Y/N. Come on, get up." Jade grabbed my arm and pulled me out of bed.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. Jade giggled and kissed my cheek. My heart fluttered at her actions. I loved hearing her laugh. We both got dressed and went to the kitchen. My mom didn't realize that we were dating yet. She thought we were just friends, so we decided that we would subtly reveal it.

"Good morning girls. What do you want for breakfast?" my mom asked us both.

"Hm, I don't know, what do you want, babe?" Jade asked me as she turned her head to me.

"Can I have some pancakes?" I requested my mom.

"Me too." Jade added.

"Sure." my mom said with a very confused look on her face.

I looked at Jade and we both quietly laughed. We both spent some time on our phones while my mom made breakfast.

"So.. 'babe' huh?" my mom broke the silence.

Jade and I both smiled, not saying anything.

"Are you guys dating?"

"I mean, Jade literally yelled out 'I love you Y/N' to the whole school yesterday, so take a guess." I said.

"Y/N!" Jade lightly hit me on my arm.

"What? It was cute. It's nice to know you love me."

Jade playfully rolled her eyes, but then smiled at me. My mom just watched us in awe. She was happy to finally see me happy. Although I wasn't sure how she felt about me being with the person that hurt me so badly.

Jade's pov:

"I'll be right back." Y/N said as she left the kitchen.

I nodded and continued on eating the delicious pancakes. Suddenly, Y/N's mom sat down next to me.

"Look, I know you probably don't want to have this talk, but I just want to say this.." she said. "Please take care of Y/N. Please treat her well. Better than you did before."

"I will. I was really stupid before. I regret everything I did in the past that hurt her. I'm sorry, both to her and to you. It was probably very hard to see your daughter hurting." I expressed.

"It was, but I'm glad she is happy now. But please don't break her heart.. again."

"I will make sure she is the happiest she can be."

"I trust you. It's risky, considering what happened in the past, but I do. You were always such an amazing girl and I'm sure you still are. Y/N has never loved anyone as much as she loves you."

Those words melted my heart and a genuine smile appeared on my face.
