"The place looks marvelous Hillary." I told Kalyla's mother when I went over Sunday morning for Frankie's welcome back party.

"Thank you sweetie." She said. "You look beautiful in that dress. Kayla is upstairs finishing getting ready if you want to go and hang out with her."

"Thank you." I said and walked upstairs to Kayla's room. I knocked trice and then walked inside.

"Thank god you're here Hope! I have no idea what to wear and I need to be downstairs in ten minutes!" She said as she looked at five different dresses on her bed.

"The blue one looks perfect for the ocassion." I said.

"The blue one it is!" She yelled grabbing it and starting to undress quickly and putting it on. "You look nice by the way. I told you that dress was pretty. Never doubt me when I say something is pretty."

"I only wore it because it's Frankie's welcome back party." I said.

"Sure." She said knowing full well she had persuaded me after three hours of none stop bugging. "So has rich guy called or texted?"

"Nope." I said walking over and zipping up her dress from the back and tying the corset part of the dress. "Maribel did call me though and thanked me for not telling her parents."

"I still don't believe you." Kayla said. "I mean Maribel was the worst of the Webber's."

"It's called acting and she did some very good acting." I said finishing tying her dress and turning her around. "There. Now put on some shoes and lets go. Your dad should be here in five minutes with your annoying brother."

Kayla quickly put on some heels and we then hurried out of her room and down the stairs. Everyone headed to the backyard where Kayla's dad would lead Frankie and we would all be standing there and yell surprise.

A few of Kayla's relatives and Frankie's friends greeted us as we walked over to Harvey.

"Almost late like always." He told Kayla.

"Shut up you player." She said. "Don't think I didn't see you flirting with Frankie's best friend through my window."

"It was a mere hello." Harvey said.

Kayla snorted. "More like a snog." She said.

"What happened to the guy you were dating or whatever?" I asked.

"His sister, a.k.a. my ex, and him got into a fight because she got made at him for dating me. I decided to end that relationship as quick as possible."

"You are a player." I said. "Don't make me an auntie soon though. Wait at least four more years."

"Oh but imagine the beautiful babies Harvey would make!" Kayla said.

Harvey rolled his eyes and everyone started quieting down when Kayla's mother ran out of the house telling us they were pulling up. According to Kayla her brother was bringing his girlfriend of three years with him. I've only met her a couple of times since when Frankie started dating her when he was sixteen and they'd met online and she was from El Salvador. She was a really nice and sweet girl and Kayla's parents liked her like if she were their own daughter. Frankie and her managed a long distance relationship for two years then when it became time for them to chose universities they both ended up choosing ones close to each other.

"Why are we going to the backyard?" I heard Frankie ask.

"It's a surprise." Kayla and Frankie's dad said.
