3.
"Get up! Get up! Get up!" Kayla yelled as she jumped on my bed.
"I don't want too." I said as I hid under the covers.
"Me neither." Harvey said next too me hiding under my covers as well.
I threw the covers off me and sat up. "Why the heck is Harvey in my bed?" I asked.
"The couch was uncomfortable so I snuck into your bed in the middle of the night." He said.
"Time to start the day!" Kayla said opening my balcony curtains. "Both of you get up."
I looked at my alarm clock. "It's seven in the morning. Why the heck do we have to start getting ready right now when the dance isn't until eight tonight?" I asked her.
"You have to be there at six-thirty." Kayla reminded me. "We've got last minute things too do before getting ready." She said as she walked out my bedroom door.
"Lets sleep for ten more minutes." I whispered too Harvey and he nodded.
We laid back down.
"Don't you dare go back to sleep!" Kayla yelled as she ran down the stairs.
"How does she always know?" Harvey asked.
"She's scary." I said and got up. "Come on lets get dressed and do as she says."
I got dressed in my bathroom meanwhile Harvey got dressed in my room. Once we were ready we went downstairs where my mom and Kayla were making breakfast.
We ate and then left with my mother as our driver for the morning.
Turns out the things we needed to do before getting ready was help Kayla pick between fifteen dresses she had on hold at a store. She tried on all the dresses, divided them into five different groups, made us pick our favorite of each group, and then tried our favorites on again. Finally after two hours she bought three of the fifteen dresses and we went to pick up my dress.
We didn't return back to my house until noon and Harvey and I were starving. We ordered pizza and finished the box in less than five minutes. Kayla on the other hand had been on a strict diet for the last two weeks due to the dance so she didn't even stay to see us open the pizza box.
"That was delicious." Harvey said as we drank the gallon of Coke we had gotten with the pizza.
"Hey do you know if Kayla has a date for the dance?" I asked Harvey. "I just realized Jonah and her were going together but they broke up."
"She doesn't have a date." Harvey whispered.
"Has she mentioned Jonah to you lately?" I asked him. "I've been busy the last few weeks with the dance that I haven't had time to hang out with her. I feel kind of bad."
"Don't tell her I told you but I think they might get back together." Harvey whispered.
I sighed.
Harvey and I watched TV for like an hour meanwhile Kayzilla ran around the house in the three dresses she had bought asking workers which one she should wear. I decided to go take a relaxing bubble bath before starting to get ready so I left Harvey downstairs watching TV and headed to my room.
I got my bath ready and just relaxed in it for almost an hour meanwhile reading. If it weren't for Kayla banging on my bathroom door to hurry up I would have stayed in longer.
I finished my bath and got dressed in some comfortable clothes for meanwhile I did my hair.
I walked out of my bathroom and found Kayla looking at her three dresses laying on my bed.
