➳ Adventure #7: Part 2: "i should get a restraining order"

"That was such a heart warming film." Felix said wiping a tear away.

"It was Tangled!" Bobby said.

"I'm so glad Flynn came back to life." Gideon said.

"Yeah. It was so sad when he died and Rapunzel was crying. I cried." Allister agreed.

"It was Tangled!" Bobby said once again.

"Oh my gods and when they both finally realize their feelings towards each other but then stupid Gothel fucks shit up and makes it look like Flynn left Rapunzel! I wanted to slap Gothel!" Kayla said.

"Me too!" Sutter said.

"I loved Rapunzel's and Flynn's duet. That scene with them on the boat or whatever it was is so beautiful." Harvey said.

"Yeah!" We all exclaimed.

"It was fucking Tangled!" Bobby yelled. "Hope has made me watch this movie so many times! We even sang the boat scene as Rapunzel and Flynn!"

"We should bake Tangled inspired cookies!" Gunter exclaimed.

Everyone was still ignoring Bobby.

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed and hurried towards the kitchen leaving a really frustrated Bobby and a really amused me in the living room.

"You know you love the movie deep down." I said.

"I never said I hate it!" Bobby said looking at me. "I just don't feel like watching it every day for the rest of my life."

I laughed.

"We should probably go and make sure they don't blow up my house." I said a standing up from the spot on the floor I had been sitting at.

"Gunter is a baker. I'm sure they'll be fine." Bobby said but followed me towards the kitchen.

Gunter was ordering everyone around and giving them jobs to do.

"Do you two want to help?" He asked Bobby and I when he saw us standing in the doorway.

"I'll sit this one out." I said.

"How about you Bobby?" Gunter turned to Bobby.

"I guess I'll help." He said as he grabbed an apron and put it on.

"So I heard the weirdest rumor today." Kayla said as she and Felix looked for the ingredients.

"Yeah? What is it?" Allister asked her.

"Well..." Kayla turned and looked at Bobby. "People are saying Nichole asked Bobby to the Homecoming dance and he said no."

I froze and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Bobby.

"There is no way that happened because Bobby has been dying for Nichole to finally notice him and he would never say no if she asked him to Homecoming." Gideon said. "Right Bobby?"

Bobby was turning a light shade of red. "I didn't actually say no. I said I already had someone I was going with." Bobby said.

Felix chuckled and looked at me.

Did he know?

How did he know?

Did Bobby tell him?

"You have a date?" Sutter exclaimed really surprised.

Bobby locked eyes with me and turned completely red. "It's not a date!" He said quickly.
