When you feel confident in yourself everything else just falls into place. Your day gets brighter and your smiles get bigger.

Confidence stems from accepting and appreciating every aspect of yourself. I had to work on acknowledging every action that I am accountable for and after I spent some time feeling resentful, I forgave myself. I think that I can try to make my mistakes right by not committing harmful acts and doing more good. I guess it's safe to say that I have my confidence back and I've never felt better.

Nate makes me feel ways that I never thought I would and with him I feel like anything is possible. He's been so patient with me lately and respected the distance I put between us but now I think I'm ready to give this relationship my all.

I've been spending more time with Sienna lately. We usually have lunch together whenever we are both at work. She's settled for lunch and accepted the fact that I haven't been in the clubbing mood.

It's been a few weeks since I met the lovely Mrs. Harris and the dreadful Mr. Harris. I realize now that I may have rushed it by meeting his parents but I can't change that now. I can only hope for a second chance or some sort of redemption.

I smiled at nothing, feeling content with how my life is going at the moment. I have the perfect boyfriend, the world's greatest friends, and the best job. I wish I listened to the voice in my head that told me things are too 'perfect'.

Nate picked me up after my day at work and I was grateful that he included time with me in his hectic work schedule.

"Hey babe," he said as I did my seatbelt. "Do you want to go to the track tonight?" He asked as he merged lanes into the crazy traffic. "Maybe get some dinner?"

I covered my gaping mouth with my hand, faking a shocked expression. "Nathaniel Harris are you asking me on a date?"

"I'll only say yes if you say yes," he said with a goofy grin.

"Are we gonna race?" He looked at me with his eyebrows raised skeptically. "You got lucky last time. Now I have to show you who the real winner is."

"We'll see about that," he said cockily like he always does.

When we got back to the house, Nate disappeared to do some more work before we left. I got dressed in a short casual black dress and wore a denim jacket on top. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and touched up my makeup.

I walked through the empty living room as the echo from my heeled sandals hit the walls around me. I followed the sound of voices and laughter, the type of laughter that makes you laugh, and it led me to Nate's office.

"You two are gonna race," Theo said cheerfully. "I'd pay to watch that. Can we join or is four a crowd?"

"Who's your bet on?" I asked as I creeped around the door frame interrupting their conversation.

All the eyes in the room snapped to my direction. Theo raised his hand and pointed his finger at me. "Show em' who's boss," he said with a smile.

"Roman?" I asked, hoping to get him on my side as well. Nate just looked amused that his brother was rooting for me.

"Uh I'll put ten grand on Nate," he said in a tone that showed he was trying to spare my feelings. I just rolled my eyes.

"Then I got ten on Zara," Theo said. Him and Roman exchanged a conversation with their eyes before they shook hands. "You're going down," he said confidently.

I looked over at Nate expecting some sort of reaction but he looked like this happens everyday.

"Where are we going for dinner?" I asked Nate.
