Before I could put my full attention into my direction, I collide with someone. I see, it's some girl. She looses her balance and is almost to trip on her knees on the ground. I catch hold of her, I wrap my one arm around her waist and grab her arm with my other hand and pull her back up on her feet. She has fisted the sleeve of my shirt-- sleeve of the arm that is wrapped around her waist, trying to hold herself together. Her head is still lowered, she's trembling, she's terrified, I can feel her heart beating really fast. It's like she knew that if she'd tumbled on the ground, she would've hurt herself really bad. She's very close to me at the moment. Too close. So close that I can smell her scent, Peaches and milk, the scent of her hairs. It's mesmerizing. I suddenly realize that I've almost wrapped her in my arms.

"Hey, you okay?" I try to pull back and she looks up and straight into my eyes. And I'm lost, I'm lost into her eyes, into those dark hazel eyes. I wonder Who she is?, Never seen her before. I know everyone here and she is a new face, yet I feel so familiar with her.

"Oh Jesus!" Leah yells from the place she's sitting and then stands up and comes striding towards us.

She draws back, releasing herself from my hold.

"You both.....you okay Jen?"

Jen? Jen!

"Yeah. I'm okay," She answers.

"Oh good," Leah sighs, brushing her arm.

Jen's arm.

What's her name man?

"How come you both bumped into each other?" Leah ask with furrowed brows and bemused, looking at both of us.

"I was distracted," we both say it in unison and we briskly look at each other.

"Oh!......Okay!" Leah grins looking at me and then her. "......Oh! By the way, this is my big brother, Brendon, who saved you from tumbling down," Leah introduce me, grabbing my arm.

She looks at me and says, "Thank you," And smiles.

I smile too, when I'm supposed to say something like 'Your welcome' or 'Its Okay'. I'm speechless for the moment. I don't know why?

"....and this is my friend Jennifer Diaz. We call her Jen, just........so you know," Leah then introduce's her puting her arm around her friend's shoulder.

Jennifer. Jen. Nice.

"Nice to meet you," I held my hand out. She takes it, "Nice to meet you too.", And we have a firm handshake.---------How many friends does Leah have in all. I've seen all of them. But not her. Never.

"How come I've never seen you before?" My questing mind made me ask her.

"It's because we've just become friends," She replies.

"And we became close in no time. You see now it's me, Angela and Jennifer. Like a Trio," Leah proclaims as she goes and stands in the middle of Angela and Jennifer holding their arms. Just then I realize that Angela was standing besides Jennifer, I don't know for how long but I haven't even noticed her standing there. I know her for years. She's been friends with my sister ever since they were four. They became best friends over time. And now Leah feels the same connection with Jennifer too and that too, within just a matter of few days. Strange.

"Oh! What do we have here?" Brian approaches. He reaches us and held out his hand to Jennifer, "Hi! I'm Brian. Leah's other brother," She takes it. "......and you must be Jennifer," Brian continues. "Yes, that's right," She says pulling away her hand from his grip.

"Leah's told me a lot about you. It's kind of fascinating," Brian adds.

Oh Lord!! Somebody stop this man.
