"I'll see how it goes and let y'all know. Please be in touch."

"Sure thing, Mr. Ryan. Thank you for your time," Mr. Gray says, holding his hand out.

"Your welcome," I shake my hand with him and he gets going his way.

Finally, finally, I'm done with everything. Now I can call it a day. I need a drink and some alone time. I'm exhausted. There's a bar on the top floor and now when I'm already here so I should go there. I turn to go to the elevator and........there's Jen, standing at a distance. Is she really looking at me? Wait. Am I dreaming again? I blink twice, thrice, and look down and back at her.

Fuck! She's real.

And I smile instantly. I start walking towards her. I know she was walking toward me too but still, I couldn't stop myself from going to her. I had no idea that she can also look so hot. She's wearing a short navy blue skirt which is revealing her sexy, long legs and a black halterneck top that flaunts her sharp shoulder blades. It's breathtaking. We reach each other. She smiles but she looks tired. How much did she even work today?

"You? Here?" I ask.

"I had a meeting here," She replies. "You're in here too," She continues.

"I had a meeting too," I say. "I didn't expected to see you here," I really didn't. All I did was hallucinate her.

"Me neither," She gazes at me.

Don't look at me like that. You're distracting me and I'm losing my mind. What are you doing to me?

Just then a guy comes behind her and grabs her bare shoulders. She startles by his sudden approach. Who is this?  Get your hands off her you prick.

............

"Hey, I can drive you home if you want to," Richard says.

"No. No. I'm good. Thanks though," Jennifer's certain.

"You sure?" He glimpse at Brendon and comes back to Jennifer.

"Yes."

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then," Richard waves his hand and walks away.

Jennifer comes back to Brendon, he is glaring at Richard who's striding towards the exit. What is it with him? That look on his face is revealing his jealousy. There's a slight smile on her face seeing him like this. She shakes her head. She doesn't wants to overthink.

"What is it?" She ask. He draws himself back to her.

"Nothing," Brendon shakes his head.

But there is something, Jennifer assumes.

"What are you doing now?" He changes the subject.

"I'm going to grab some coffee and go home."

Jennifer so wants to have her favourite coffee with him but she doesn't have the guts to ask him to go with her. What if he still has some work or has some other plans? She doesn't wants to look desperate and get embarrassed. But fate has made them meet again so this is the time she can make much of it. She takes a deep breath and,

"Do you wanna come?"

"I'd love to," He smiles. It didn't take him so long to answer her this time. She grins. She's happy as ever.

"I'll take you to my favourite place. Come," She starts walking, with Brendon following her. "They make the perfect coffee just how I like," she lets out her exhilaration.

Jennifer found contentment when he said yes to go for a coffee with her and relieved that she didn't embarassed herself. It was worth trying her luck. Brendon walks quitely with her, following her lead, admiring her. Soon they reach Aurora's Cafe.
