And so they do the same thing on Wednesday as well. They would spend the whole day waiting for each other. In the morning, Brendon would wait for Jennifer and then she would wait to call it a day at work and Brendon would again wait, outside her office building. Then they would go to the cafe together. Coffee was just a pawn for them, so that they could get to spend some time together.

They followed the same on Thursday too, which is today. Brendon has already dropped Jennifer to her workplace. Her happiness right now is on cloud nine. How she complained about her same routine everyday before, and now she loves the change that Brendon has brought in her life. Deep within she knows that he is the best thing that has happened to her and it will be hard to live without him.

Jennifer gets out of her dreamland and makes herself busy working. She goes through the manuscript that are given to her to edit and then discuss it with the senior editors. Once she's done with that, she goes back to her desk and her phone rings. It's Angela. She takes it,

"Hey! How come you called me today, at this time?" ask Jennifer.

"I just called to tell you that I'm leaving for New York now," Angela informs.

"New York? All of a sudden. Why?"

"I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you that today is my flight. It's a work trip. I'll be back on Monday."

"Oh! Okay. Fly safe."

"Yeah. Bye Jen. Love you," Angela hangs up the call.

What is Jennifer going to do all alone at home for three days. First of all, she hates to live alone and second of all, how is she going to spend her weekend? She has Brendon but she's not sure if she should ask him to spend the weekend with her or not. She let go her thoughts for a while so that she can focus on her work.

"I'll just figure it out," mumbles Jennifer to herself.

............

It's noon. I shut my laptop down to just take a break for a while. I'm hungry too. I call Samantha and ask her to bring me lunch. I haven't had pot roast for a while so I ask her to arrange that for me. After a while she comes in with my lunch. I thank her but she doesn't leave. I glance at her, there's a questioning look on her face.

"What?" I ask.

"Sir, you do remember that you have to fly to Washington tomorrow, right? You haven't asked me anything about it throughout the day. Like arrange a jet, rent a car there, all this, like you usually ask me to do."

Oh right. I have a meeting tomorrow with the commander-in-chief. I almost forgot about it. Maybe because I was into Jen lately.

"Yeah right. I forgot," I admit. "You do the arrangements for tomorrow."

"Yes sir," and she leaves.

Which means I won't get to see Jen tomorrow. Ugh!.....Why? I'll be back on Saturday, most probably at night. I thought I'll spend this weekend with Jen. Take her to Beverly hills, show her my place. But everything's gone in vain. I let out a despondent sigh. I gobble my pot roast and get back to work. Soon its time to meet Jen.

I wait outside her office building. She didn't made me wait for long. She already here. She comes striding towards me,

"Hi again," she says.

"Hello there," I lean in and kiss her.

Oh god! I won't see her tomorrow. This thing is eating me alive.

We walk to the Aurora's Cafe and once we're there, we place our orders. We sit on our window table with our coffee. She's telling me about her day at work. I should tell her about tomorrow now.
