I stroke her naked back and reach to kiss her bare shoulder. She's in a deep sleep. I kiss her ear and whisper, "Good morning."

But Jen doesn't open her eyes. I tug her earlobe gently with my teeth. "Mmm..." she gripes. "Wake up, baby," I whisper again. "Come on. We have to go. You have an doctor's appointment today. Up, fast."

She turns to me, flickering her eyes open. Her front is concealed with the comforter, but revealing her beautiful neck and shoulder. I'm already dressed and lying beside Jen. She looks at me with her sleepy eyes and again closes them.

"No! Jen! Wake up. It's past 9, and the appointment is at 10:30. Come on."

"You go then," She mumbles but refuses to open her eyes.

Oh dear god! I want to laugh and growl at the same time. But I suppress it both and continue waking her up.

"It's not my test. And if you don't wake up now on the count of five, you know what I'll do." She's awake but doesn't wants to get out of the bed. She won't compromise her sleep for anything, especially on weekends.

"Okay! One." I pause. "Two... Three." Still she doesn't opens her eyes.

"Four." She smiles and keeps her eyes closed.

"And..." I put my hand under the comforter and stroke her bare stomach. "Five." I start to tickle her.

"NO! STOP!" She yells.

Her eyes flutter open and she laughs and laughs. But I don't stop. She wiggles on the bed, tries to shove me off, but she couldn't.

"STOP! STOP! STOP! I'M AWAKE," she screams and sits up, panting. "Good," I say. Waking her up is like a mission and I just accomplished it. I get out of the bed and tell her, "Don't go back to sleep. Get dressed and come down fast."

I try to act like a dominant, but I think that also doesn't work on her--- she's glaring at me. Jesus!

"What?" I snap. "Are you going to eat me?" I grab her chin and kiss her.

My phone buzzes and I draw back. I check--- it's my mother. "Up." I tell Jen and walk out of the room.

"Yes, mom." I answer the call.

"Hello dear, how are you and how's Jennifer doing?"

"Yeah, we both are good. How are y'all?"

"We're fine too. And...your grandparents just arrived here."

"Oh! That's great. They wanted to meet Jen, so I think...this is the best way they can meet each other."

"I'm so happy, Brendon. Infact, we all are very happy, that you're taking a step forward in your life."

"I know, mom. I just...I just can't wait for it." I'm on cloud nine right now, just by thinking about it.

"Hmm... When are Jennifer's parents arriving?"

"Today, in the noon."

"Okay. I got to go now. I'll see y'all tomorrow."

"Yeah." I hang up.

I can't believe, it's going to happen tomorrow. I feel so proud and blessed for doing this. Marrying Jen would be a blessing for me and the greatest thing to happen in my life.

First, I asked Cynthia and James for Jen's hand. And they said yes happily, granting me the permission to marry Jen. And then I told my family about this--- they're also really happy for us. Brian and Christian will look after the furbish and decor. I want to make this special, cause Jen's special and precious to me. And then, most important--- the ring, Victor has already left for New York to collect it. I didn't wanted it to get directly delivered here. If Jen sees it, my whole plan will go in vain. Jen's parents will soon be here, my grandparents have already arrived. I want to celebrate our engagement with our family. Everything is going smoothly as planned. Now, what's left is--- Jen to say yes.
