It been a week since me and paddy went to the lake, to be honest it felt like a date but it wasn't. Well I don't think it was? Anyways after what ever you call that day me and paddy have been having a great time hanging out and watching movies ( of course all of my movies, like duh who doesn't want to see me on the big screen, I'll tell you I don't want to see myself on there because I always think i could have done something better). But today's New Year's Eve and it's my favourite time of the year because me and paddy would sneak alcohol and food to our tree house as kids which was fun but was also a legal. But I was getting dressed up cute today and I couldn't wait to go to our tree house because I wanted to talk to paddy and tell him how I felt. Also I wanted to kiss him at midnight. As soon as I hear the knock from down stairs I run to the door because I knew it was paddy. As I open the door I see four boys looking me up and down, they were shocked. I was never really one for tight dresses because I hated my body so I started to get scared when the boys didn't say anything. E: do I really look that bad. -I said with a sad face- E: you know what I'm going to change I knew I could never look pretty in this I'm to fat. -I turn around about to run to my room when I felt a light grip on my wrist- P: you look absolutely gorgeous, and don't you dare say your fat because your not... your perfect to me. T,Ha,S: aww you are so cute P,E: guys stop itttttt S: you should date already, like we all know you still love each other so hurry up P: stop it Sam E: yeah, stop being an ass T: well we are going clubbing if you would like to join us three. E: no thanks I have my own traditions and I have a very special one on New Year's Eve. -I wink at paddy and he gives me that smile, oh my god that smile it warms up my whole body- E: ok well I have to go - I grab my basket full of food and alcohol, which I don't have to steel anymore- Paddy's POV When Ella opened the door I was shocked she looked so beautiful actually no she looked gorgeous. I just stare at her for what feels like an hour but is about 5 seconds. Then I hear her say "Do I really look that bad" I started to feel my heart shrink at the thought of her thinking she doesn't look amazing, but then I hear her say some thing even worse "You know what I'm going to get changed I knew I could never look pretty in this I'm too fat" That was what pushed me of the breaking point, I grabbed her hand softly and told her that she looked gorgeous and that she should never call herself fat, and also how she was perfect, I shouldn't have said that because the boys were now saying aww and how we should get together. To be honest there is nothing I wanted more then to call her my girlfriend, but she probably sees me as a friend now. We end up walking to the tree house and getting the at about 9:00 so we end up talking about how our life's were in the 2 years of not seeing each other. I told her how I started going to the gym more and I quote that Ella said she thought I looked more "ripped" but she could have been just saying that. It was getting to about half eleven and I hear Ella slightly snoring, I pulled her closer to my chest and I had become the big spoon, we stayed like that for a while and then I look down at Ella's face and thought about how we had our fist kiss right up here on this day 4 years ago when I was 15. But I get interrupted by the buzzing of Ella's phone, I hear Ella yawn as she tries to get to her phone but she is held back by me, I can feel her turning to face me so I act like I'm asleep. She says "Paddy, pads, you awake" I was awake but I wanted to know what she would do if I was asleep, and to my surprise she kissed me on the cheek.SHE.KISSED. MY.CHEEK. I opened my eyes slowly and saw her starring at me, P: hello love, did I wake you E: no my phone did, but I know I woke you P: why did your phone go off E: the alarm for the 12:00 count down P: shit what's the time E: don't worry I made sure it was ten minutes before the count down P: what would I do without you E: I don't know, maybe sleep all day - we both laugh- P:Ok well let's go out side and get ready for the fireworks -we walk outside and get to the place we always used to sit and watch the starts or fireworks- E: ok 15 seconds in till 12 P: whoop whoop E,P: 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 - we look at each other and I start to lean in- We kissed and it wasn't a peck either it was a whole make out session, but I ain't complaining."It felt like fireworks"
