A Loss of Hope

A Fight Back

Eda strolls into the woods and comes upon the fallen ashes of the cabin Luz burned down. Yet the sight didn't affect the witch as it did before, because the wild witch was getting her human back.

The witch saw her sister and the two Hexside witches waiting by the door, looking a tad bit defeated.

"Why the sour looks? The plan worked." Eda looks to her sister who also seems down "Didn't it?"

Lilith sighs and walks towards her sister, leaving Amity and Gus to wait by the door alone. "There was an issue, and Luz didn't want anything to do with us. Amity was the one who told us to leave."

Eda glares at the green-haired witch before glaring back at Lilith "Are you shitting me?"

"Language Edalyn."

"No don't language Edalyn me! We knew this would happen, and we agreed we would take her no matter what!"

Lilith pinches the bridge of her nose "I know. But by the way, the children acted."

Eda rolls her eyes "I don't care how the children acted." The wild witch walks over to Gus and grabs his arm "Ok kid you're coming with me. I need these round ears for a little while longer."

Eda begins to walk out of the woods with Gus when Amity gets up in spite and follows. She wants to be stubborn and leave Luz behind, but really she can't leave. Not when Luz was like that. But the Blight needed some time to process the way Luz is. "She's not going to leave without a fight."

Eda looks back to Amity and Lilith and smirks deviously "That's what I'm counting on. If there's one thing I know hasn't changed, is that Luz doesn't change her mind so easily."

The bell dismisses everyone, and Luz makes her way out of school. Today was too much for her so she thought it would be best to leave right away and just go home. Unfortunately, life just loves throwing the Latina curveballs.

"Heyyyy Luuzer!"

Luz groans and turns to see the pink stripe getting larger as Mia approaches "Mia." Luz says with a little bit of venom in her voice.

Mia laughs with her followers close behind her "So I'm guessing you met with your friend?"

"Who?"

The bully rolls her eyes "What was her name. Amity? Yeah, she was looking for you earlier. My guess to dump you like all your other friends eventually did. You know, if she was smart."

Luz was holding her composure. Today was a lot so she just wants to go home. But if Mia kept on this path, who knows how Luz will react "It's none of your business."

"No, you're right. None of my business. Besides, it's old news for people dumping you."

Luz tenses and uses all her strength to hold back. Luz walks up to Mia, now standing face to face with the girl, gritting her teeth "Watch it!"

Mia laughs at the action and turns back to her disciples "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you would want to kiss me Luuzer. Too bad I'm not a freak like you." Now Mia's followers all round up and circle Luz and Mia, making it so that the both of them are surrounded. 

Luz looks around and sees what's happening, knowing that Mia wants her to snap "Not today Mia. Any day, just not today!"

"Oh, is today an inconvenience for you? Let me just reschedule then." Mia laughs, making all the surrounding girls laugh along. "Everyone leaves you sooner than later Luz. Even Dipper, the kid everyone makes fun of, will eventually leave you. Your mom must be so disappointed. That's why she sent you to that camp four years ago. But you came out of that camp even more of a freak."
