Luz stood in front of the mirror, buttoning up her white collared shirt, and fastening her belt to secure her purple dress pants. Eda took the liberty of going back to the human realm to shop for her to wear something nice for this dinner. Thankfully Eda has a good eye for clothing. She did have a magic touch for style.

Luz decided to leave the top button undone, knowing she would end up feeling suffocated one way or another tonight, so better leave a little room for comfort. She grabs the brush that lies on the windowsill and brushes her hair back. Luz played with her two long strands of hair and analyzed them in her reflection. Maybe tonight was the night for a nice hairstyle change? And that it was. Luz walked to the bathroom and found a pair of shears that seemed to be made from some type of creature's bones, but it was best not to ask questions. She walks down the hall and knocks on Eda's room door.

"Eda?" Luz calls out and opens the door.

Eda was sitting in her nest on her scroll, and she looks up as Luz enters the room "What's up kiddo? Looking sharp. Your good looks take after mine."

Luz playfully rolls her eyes "Can-it!" Luz holds the sheers up "Do you think you can cut my hair? I was thinking of going back to my pixie cut when I was fourteen."

Eda throws her scroll down into her nest and she jumps up "Yes! Please!" She steps out of her nest and walks up to Luz with her slippers on foot "I hate those two awkward strands of hair just there. Seriously what was the point of that?"

Luz slouches her shoulders "You said they looked cool."

"I was lying!" Eda bluntly lays out "I didn't want to be mean so I lied."

"Yeah." Luz crosses her arms "I get it. Since when did you ever care about being mean?"

Eda snags the sheers from Luz's hand and leads the two of them in front of the witch's vanity. She pulls the chair over and sits Luz down, making her face the mirror and getting a full view of her head. "Hey, I have my moments of being kind. It may not be often but it does happen."

"Rarely." Luz mumbles.

Eda huffs and a smirk appears, showing Luz in the mirror "I can make this moment the opposite of those rare moments. I am about to cut your hair."

Luz groans, throwing her head back so her brown eyes meet Eda's mismatches gaze "Eda~"

The witch rolls her eyes and moves Luz's head back so it's straight again "Relax. That's something I would do to everyone else. I only make exceptions for you." They share an affectionate gaze in the mirror "Now let's match your awesome outfit with an awesome haircut!" Eda gets to chopping.

Odalia sat in front of her vanity, putting mascara on for the upcoming dinner. Alador stood near another mirror, struggling to put an outfit together. The oracle witch sighed as she finished her makeup and looks in Aladors direction in the mirror "Maybe one spell to see how the night is going to go? It couldn't hurt."

"No dear." Alador continued to look through his clothes in his closet while an abomination held out a few choices he's picked out "Remember this is for Amity. She's loved this girl ever since you tried to kill her at our night market convention. Nothing is going to change her mind. She gets that from you." He sees his fancy cape and takes it out only to give it to the abomination.

Odalia groans "I mean really, she couldn't get anything else? She has your looks, and magic but my stubbornness? Only to disagree with everything I've ever said and done! I mean it's like the Titan himself made her just to spite me!"

The abomination witch chuckles "Don't be dramatic dear. You two just don't see eye to eye all the time. Maybe tonight could be the night you turn over a new leaf with her by accepting the human. I know you two have been working on a relationship ever since Luz's departure. She even dyed her hair back to green."
