The sunlight leaked through the blinds of the blonde's room as it rose from the horizon. It reflected off of all the medals hung against the wall, and onto the bed of the girl that lies on it. The pink strand on the girl's head was the first to be touched by the beaming light. Soon the light traveled down to the girl's eyes and finally wakes her up.

Mia opens her eyes seven minutes before her alarm sounds, making her groan in annoyance for not getting those extra minutes. She stuffs her hand beneath her pillow, trying to fall back asleep with the time she has to spare. But, as everyone knows, that time feels like seconds, and before she knew it her alarm went off.

The human girl slams her phone in an attempt to disarm the alarm from sounding the room. "Shut up you stupid alarm." The girl mumbles as she tosses her covers off of her silhouette and hops out of her queen-sized bed.

She slips her feet into her slippers and walks to her closet to see what outfit she would rock for the day. "No. No. Definitely not. As if." She searches her walk-in closet, walking back and forth until she comes across the perfect outfit for a nice September day. "Perfect!"

Mia lays her outfit out on her bed before jumping into the shower. She takes a while, but that's why the girl gets up so early every day. She has to look her best and show off how perfect she truly is. How perfect her life seems.

She grabs her book bag and hurries down the stairs where both her parents are situated at the kitchen table, reading the daily paper and talking on the phone.

"Morning!" Mia says as she sits down at the opposite side of the table. The girl gets no answer from her mother or father, as they both just ignore the rest of the world. The senior doesn't slouch, but sits tall, trying to be noticed by the two she so desperately wants attention from. She clears her throat and tries again "Good morning mom. Good morning dad." Still no answer.

The Butler, Luca, brings Mia her usual iced coffee and a plate of fruit with the side of a muffin. Mia smiles "Thank you, Luca."

Luca smiles and winks at the girl "Anytime miss Mia."

However, Henry Worthright glances from his paper and scolds Luca. "I don't pay you to converse with my daughter. Now hurry along." Luca nods and hurries away to get back to work. Finally, Henry Worthright looks at his third and youngest child for the first time today "I got a call from your school. Do you have anything to say?"

Mia looks down at her plate ashamed "I'm sorry daddy. But this girl just-"

Mia is cut off by her mother "Now dear, some insignificant girl shouldn't be the blame for your mistakes. Why can't you be like Alexander or Casandra? They are both going to graduate school to become doctors and lawyers. Do you think they blame their mistakes on other 'girls'?"

"No."

"Exactly!" Martha Worthright says as she looks back at her phone.

Now, it was back to as it was before. The Worthright parents ignore their youngest child. Mia looks back and forth at her mom and dad as they put her on the pay no mind list. "So? That's it?"

Mr. Worthright keeps his eyes on his daily paper "What?"

"No punishment?" Mia says, slightly raising her voice "I gave a girl a concussion. Aren't you going to take my car, or phone away? In fact, I bully that same girl every day. What's my punishment?"

"At least you're being the alpha. A Worthright is always on the top." Mr. Worthright says, still not giving Mia the light of day.

Mia looks towards her mother "Mom?"

Martha doesn't look up from her phone "Darling, the Hemsworth's are throwing a gala in two weeks. Shall we throw a bigger one on the same day and show them up?"
