3 days since the field trip.

3 days since Mia was introduced to Luz's magical friends.

3 days since Luz had a falling out with her mother.

For 3 days Luz has been in bed, not saying a single word to anyone. Not King, not Eda, not Lilith nor Hooty. Not even Amity. She's just been lying in bed, sulking since her travel back to the human realm.

"She's been up there for three days now," Eda tells Lilith with concern while her sister cooks "I'm really starting to get worried, Lilly. She won't talk about what happened. The fight with her mom couldn't have been that bad."

Lilith holds a bowl of batter in one arm while whisking it with the other "I know what you mean. From what Willow told us, I don't think she'll be going back to the human realm anytime soon. She won't even let King sleep with her right now."

King waddles into the kitchen because he was eavesdropping "Tell me about it! All I want to do is sleep in the same bed as her. Last time I checked, there's no talking when you sleep!" The tiny demon throws his hands in the air, angry that he's slept alone on the couch for the past three nights.

"King. This is more serious than your sleeping arrangements." Eda scolds the demon "We have to do something. Where's the Blight girl or Goldilocks? If anyone could get Luz out of bed it's either of them."

Lilith laughs "The Blight girl? Wow you really can't think of an offensive name to call her, can you?"

"She changed her hair to brown! What am I supposed to call her, brownie? That's so unoriginal!" 

Lilith puts the bowl down on the table and wipes her hands on a cloth "Edalyn, you could just call her by her name. It's Amity by the way."

Eda rolls her eyes "Yeah, and make her think I actually care about her. Give me a break!"

Lilith laughs again "Ok, but in all seriousness. We have to do something. I've noticed she hasn't been eating as well. I saw King eating her plate. He apparently has eaten all her meals I laid out."

Eda and Lilith both turn to King and look at him with disappointment. King just shrugs "She wasn't eating any of it. I wasn't going to leave it all to waste!"

Eda turns back to her sister "I think we should call Goldi. He was there and would probably know how to deal with parental conflict. I mean look who raised him."

Lilith disagrees "I'm going to have to disagree with you, sister. I think we should call Amity. She's the obvious choice. She would defiantly cheer Luz up and get her talking. Not to mention she's raised by Odalia and Alador."

"I'm gonna have to firmly disagree Lilly." Eda mocks Lilith by using the same word choice.

"Oh, do you know?" Lilith looks at her younger sister, obviously annoyed by the mockery.

"Yep! How about this, King!" Eda calls out the demon "You're the deciding vote. Should we call Goldilocks to help cheer up Luz? Or Snow White?"

"Snow White?" Lilith questions. "Who in Titan's name is that?"

Eda tries to explain "Oh, Luz once read King and I stories from the human realm. Snow White is a princess who's cursed by an Evil Queen and is saved by a prince. You see, Snow White has pale skin like the Blight, and she lives with Odalia, aka the Evil Queen."

"Edalyn, only you, Luz, and King would get that."

Eda crosses her arms "Fine. I'll come up with a new nickname. But until then, King what's your pick?"

King groans "Why not just get the both of them? They obviously care a lot about Luz." Both Clawthorne's look at the demon with a surprised expression, causing the demon to get offended "What? I have good ideas. Not my fault everyone doesn't take me seriously all the time."
