Sorry for the short chapter. There's just not much to write. Enjoy

It's finally happening.

Luz is moving to the Boiling Isles.

The human never thought this day would come, but it has and it was glorious. After the dinner Eda cooked up last night, everyone had a little too much celebratory apple blood. Hunter crashed onto the couch with King falling asleep on top of him, Lilith and Eda had a sister sleepover in Eda's nest, and Amity spent the night with Luz. Everything was finally the way it should have been.

It was one of the most beautiful days in the Isles. Luz woke up with a smile on her face, and her witch in her arms. Their hearts synchronized and their breaths in rhythm together. They both slept like logs, after having a celebration of their own last night.

She rose delicately, making sure to let Amity get her beauty rest. After today, they'll have all the time in the world to sleep in. It was time to prepare and pack. Luz hurried downstairs to the kitchen where a hungover Eda sad, nursing her bitter bean blood accompanied by Lilith, Hunter, and King.

Eda groaned "Ug, you seem chipper than usual. It's annoying."

"Good morning Eda." Luz goes over to her mentor and hugs her, making Eda suppress her smile and keep her annoyed facade on. "Moring Lilith, King." Luz skips around the table and gives her bestie Hunter a slap on the head "Morning Goldie~"

"Ow." Hunter rubs the back of his head and scolds Luz "Didn't you drink the same amount, if not more than the rest of us?"

King crossed his arms "Yeah, but she worked it all out after. Didn't you. That's why I had to crash on the couch with the golden boy over here."

Luz, unbothered by the demon's jab, shrugs and takes a seat at the table "You know what. I did work it all out last night. And it was amazing, thank you very much." Everyone, other than Luz, groaned in disgust. Luz leaned back in her chair, satisfied with the reaction she got.

Lilith took a sip of her bitter bean blood "Well you deserved every second of last night, Luz. Now we don't need any details, but I'm happy you're happy."

"Thank you, Lilith. And you all could take a page out of her book and be happy for me."

Eda scoffs "Yeah, well now we'll have a long time to do that." The witch fidgets with her golden fang "But no one will ever want to hear about you and Blighty. I can say that for sure."

Luz looks around the table and couldn't be more excited for today. She just smiles at the scene in front of her "Speaking of the love of my life, I'm going to wake her up and get my day started. What do you lot have planned?"

Lilith slouches in her chair and rubs her temples, trying to cure the pulsing headache she has "Well, Edalyn has to return that Titan damn book she stole from the library, and Amity is going to go with her to make sure she does so. I'm taking a day off work and so is Hunter to help you fully move in, although it won't be a lot. And King is- Well King is just going to do what he does every day and just be here."

King is too tired to make a remark "What the witch said. But to pass the time while Luz gets her human stuff I would like to challenge you, Lilith, to a game of Hexes Holdem! Finally, teach you who the winner of the Owl House truly is!"

Hunter and Eda scoff at the demon's comment. The crimson eyes meet with King's "I would like to enter myself in that game. But we have to wager something. Nobody good plays just for fun."

Eda pouts, knowing Lilith won't let her play because of her chore. Meanwhile, Lilith smirks liking the competition "Interesting. I link the way you think, Hunter. How about whoever wins, doesn't have to help Luz move her stuff in?"
