Servants packed the last of the luggage into the carriages and it was now time for their lord and princess to board. It was incredibly rare for them to leave the province but they could handle themselves.

Their lord came down with his daughter in hand and helped her onto the carriage first. Then he went in himself. The wolf demon had finished helping servants pack the bags. He didn't have to, but he couldn't resist. Maybe he saw a little of his tribe in them. Just as Kouga was about to enter when Inuyasha stopped him.

"This is for family members only."
"Father!" Moroha yelled.

He shot her a glare. She was taken a back. "Stay out of it."

She frowned but listened.

Inuyasha stared Kouga down. He thought he would yell, fight, get angry. The obvious things.

Instead, he quite easily gave up. He didn't say anything at all.

Kouga got off the step and Masami called him over. He saved a seat for him just in case this was to happen. He had a feeling.

This carriage was only meant for luggage and a spot for one person, but he made sure to make space for two. It was shabby but Masami never minded it. It reminded him of his childhood.

"Are you okay?" The brown haired man asked.

Kouga didn't say much. He just sat down on the rickety wooden bench built into the side and looked out the small window. It was a far cry from the soft luxury of the lord's carriage, albeit it doesn't really matter.

Time passed in a blur. Kouga didn't even realize they had stopped till Masami had shook him.

"Come on." He said with a twinge of concern. "We've arrived.

Kouga sighed. He got off and took a look around.

The city was vibrant and bustling. Tall buildings and even taller tower that could be seen from even here. The smells were a little much but it wasn't that bad. Definitely a big difference from the farms and small businesses of Fujimura.

Kouga had to admit he was awe struck.

Lord Hashigawa the tall big man he is, was spotted like a sun among planets. Sir Katashi by his side.

He approached the carriage as Inuyasha aided his daughter off before getting off himself.

Lord Hashigawa held out his hand. Inuyasha looked at his face, as stoic as always. Then to the hand he offered, warm, affectionate, wanting. He couldn't reject him.

He held his hand while stepping down.

"It's wonderful to see you again." His tone gruff, a hint of something...soft.

He might be coming on to Inuyasha.

It's not the first time this has happened.

"You as well." He smiled.

"I've scheduled a meal for us and then I thought if you all weren't too tired, we might tour the city." He offered to them.

Inuyasha shook his head. "We don't feel quite hungry."

"Speak for yourself," Kouga muttered."
The half demon side eyed him then quickly switched up by smiling politely at Lord Hashigawa.

"If that's the case," he offered his arm. "Would you like to tour the city with me."

Sir Katashi furrowed his brows. Inuyasha's eyes glanced between his arm and Kouga's stunned face. He's was watching, he saw everything. He's been in a mood since earlier.
