Dreams Can't Hurt Me

I slowly creep up behind him, quickly raising my hands and gripping them tightly them on his neck

"Fuck you Ruby Jane" He spits out, making me chuckle

"Please, I'm sure that can be arranged. But now's not the time, don't you think?"

"She's using you. And once she's done she'll beat you to a pulp and throw you to the side like a dogs chew toy. You think she gives a fuck about you or your brothers? Or your Mama for that matter? She's only in it for bloodshed"

I growl slightly and pull away, a blinding rage starting to fill my eyes

"Shut the fuck up."

He turns around, eyes bloodshot and a bloody scar underneath his eye. But still through the pain, he gives me a tight smile, one that shows off his bloodied, yet still bright white teeth

"I just want you to be safe Ruby"

I reach into my back holsters and remove the daggers, even though I don't need them, the least I can do is give him a fight

"I am safe, you however, are not" I say, charging towards him with the blades in my hands

I aim for his stomach, but he drops down to the ground, rolling away from me. He quickly gets back up and takes out his own daggers, circling me with them shining in his hand

"Don't make me do this" He says, almost pleading

I flip the dagger skilfully in my hand before throwing one at his ankle

The blade pierces through his skin, and the blood starts to seep out of his dark clothing. He drops down on one knee, daggers long forgotten as he clutches his wound

"Damn, I thought with all that talk, you would've built up some more fighting energy" I taunt, slowly walking up to him

He quickly reaches out and grabs my leg, tugging it harshly which sends me down onto the concrete.  My face slams on the hard floor, a loud crack filling the air.

Before I can even regain my sense's he flips me over, throwing all kinds of punches to my face and stomach.

I manage to block the majority, but he manages to land a sharp hit on my stomach, winding me.

"I don't want to do this Ruby" He says, voice breaking slightly

I continue wheezing, still not able to breathe properly, so he takes it as an opportunity to continue his do good, be better speech

I've heard it enough times

"I know what your feeling Ruby, everything hurts, your mad at the world. And you just want to be happy again. But you feel like you can't do that without your Mama .I know Ruby. I know it's hard  but you shouldn't resort to unreasonable tactics to make yourself feel better!" 

No

I growl as I feel my heart quicken in my chest

No

My hands move almost automatically, grabbing the dagger to the side of me and quickly piercing through his stomach.  I push the blade so far in that I can see my fingers start to go inside of him

No

"Don't act like you know me." I spit, ripping the blade out of him

I rip the blade out so quickly, blood splatters on my face and neck, as he kneels with his mouth and eyes open wide, clutching his wound

I quickly get up and press the dagger into chest, close to his heart, but not through it

I twist the dagger while it's inside of his chest, making him scream out in agony

"Don't act like you understand my pain"

I rip the blade out, the blood splattering out again as he drops to the floor.

I get down on both knees, one on his injured ankle, making him scream out, one on the blood filled ground

I look him in his eyes, not caring about the tears that have formed, or the look of betrayal in his dilating pupils

"You wanna know what I feel?" I ask sarcastically

I stab the knife into his heart, smiling widely at the sight of the flowing blood, and the sound of his strangled scream

I quickly reach over and grab the other blade, eager to finish this while he's alive

I put the tip of the other blade at his neck and smile even wider

"This is what I feel like"

I quickly swipe the blade across his neck, the blood flying out almost like in a movie as it covers my face

I watch as the colour quickly fades out of his body, leaving a cold lifeless mess on the ground.

His eyes are still wide open, but there is a slight raise at the corner of his lips, which I can only presume would've been a taunting last smirk.

I remove the blades from his chest and wipe it off on his top before sliding them back into my back holster

I get up and take one more look at the body

"You should've left when you had the chance Hanbin"

Something heavy lands beside me, making me jump awake. 

I look around the room to see Jisoo, Chaeyoung and Lisa all staring at me with wide eyes

"W-what?" I ask

Lisa seems to be the first one to snap out of it as she takes my hands and leads me into the bathroom, still not speaking

She shuts the door behind us and seats me on the toilet seat as she goes and fills the bath

"Lis?" I ask carefully

But instead of answering she shakes her head and turns the taps off when there's enough water running

She grabs my hands and leads me over to the bath

"get in" she practically whispers

I do as told, taking off my boxers and sports bra and stand in the hot water

I feel my joint's relax as I sit down, almost sighing in content excpet for when I see the bath water turn a dark shade of red.

My eyes widen and I turn to Lisa, tears in my eyes

"D-did I hurt you?" 

She shakes her head and point's to my arms and chest

"Your hurt yourself Jennie"

I sit in silence, absorbing in her words, but not understanding.  I look down at my chest to see a large amount of scratch marks, then to my arms to see the same thing

"I'm sorry" I whisper, feeling like I've disappointed her

Again

She doesn't say anything, but instead she stops wiping down my bloody body, and pulls me in for a tight and warm hug

"It's okay. I was shocked. I'll be fine. We'll be fine"

I hug back with as much affection, if not more as I allow the tears to run down my face

I hope so

a/n not sure when the next chapter will be, but it'll be the gang going to the Kim's family house :)
