The excitement didn't last long for Yuji and Nobara though. The fancy buildings and iconic places they were propably expecting, turned out to be a very unwelcoming and scary three-storey building, eminating a vicious and dark aura. You could tell at least two or more curses resided in there just from the eerie feeling it gave off.
The duo's faces immediately dropped seeing the intimidating building while Gojo simply commented "There's a curse here". This send Yuji and Nobara off the edge, as they started yelling at Gojo.
"You liar!" they simultaneously exclaimed, anger evident in both their faces as the both started flailing around and yelling at the white haired teacher.
"This isn't even Roppongi!"
"You were toying with us country folk!"
You stood right next to Megumi, trying to stifle your laugh as these two kept throwing a tantrum, being utterly disappointed.
"There's a big cemetery nearby. The double whammy of that and an abandoned building brought out a curse" Gojo explained and Itadori immediately stopped to inspect the building in front of him.
"So they really do pop up more often around graves?" Itadori questioned the same time Nobara kept screaming behind you four, "Who does he think is responsible for the rice he gets to eat, huh?!"
"Well not exactly. It doesn't necessarily have something to do with the graves" you said and Fushiguro nodded his head before speaking.
"The issue is not the cemetery itself. It's the fact that people associate cemeteries with fear" Fushiguro further explained to Itadori.
"Exactly, and like Gojo-sensei said, a cemetery and an abandoned building is not a good combination. Never" you finished explaining and Yuji spoke up.
"Oh, it was the same for schools, too, wasn't it?" he questioned looking between Fushiguro and you. You nodded your head in agreement and Yuji flashed you a tiny smile, making you look away trying to hide the embarrassment that crossed your face when Nobara chimed in.
"Hold up. He didn't even know that yet?"
"Well um.." you started saying, rubbing the back of your neck, trying to find the right words to explain Itadori's case without sounding too weird.
"To be honest..." Fushiguro explained but you zoned out, feeling a shiver running down your spine. 'Something's definitely wrong with this place. There are more than one curses here and that could be a problem' you thought to yourself but your little internal monologue was interrupted when you heard Nobara yell, out of the blue.
