"Our window verified the curse womb three hours ago. Once 90 percent were successfully evacuated, they made the call to seal off the center. Citizens within a 500-meter radius have been evacuated as well" Ijichi finished explaining the situation to the four of you. You were all currently outside of Eishuu Juvenile Detention Center. It had been reported that a curse womb was spotted in that location and therefore, you first years had been sent to investigate the case. Just perfect.
"Ijichi-san, question. What's a 'window' here?" Itadori asked raising his hand.
"A window is a member of Jujutsu Tech who can see curses. They aren't sorcerers, though" Ijichi answered, while Itadori muttered a soft 'Oh, okay'.
"Let's continue. Detainee Block 2. At present, five detainees remain there with the curse womb. If this curse womb is the type that metamorphoses, we predict it will become a special-grade cursed spirit" Ijichi continued and your eyes widen with shock.
"Oh, that isn't good" you muttered as Itadori looked at you from the corner of his eye. 'How are we supposed to fight a special-grade?!' you screamed internally, thinking how dense the higher-ups are.
"Hey so... I still don't really understand what 'special-grade' means" Itadori said looking at Megumi, Kugisaki and you. The other two first years let out exasperated sighs, as you sweat dropped. Then again, how could you blame him? It hadn't been that long since he was involved with sorcery, so you could understand his confusion.
Ijichi then proceeded to explain everything to Yuji but you didn't pay much attention to his words, already knowing that stuff. Talking about special-grades wasn't your favorite topic either way, due to its relation with your parents' death, so you zoned out a bit instead, when Yuji's loud voice caught your attention.
"That's real bad!" he yelled, now understanding what you four had to go up against.
"Normally, a jujutsu sorcerer on par with the cursed spirit would take on the mission. On a day like today, that would be Gojo-sensei" Megumi exclaimed.
"But us per usual, he is absent" you said frowning and Yuji looked at you, noticing your nervous and angry state.
"I-I see. So why is he absent? Where is he?" Yuji asked looking around, trying to spot the white haired teacher.
"Away on business" Megumi said catching Yuji's attention. "Huh?" said boy exclaimed in a questioning manner, wondering what Fushiguro meant.
"He's not someone who should be loafing around at the school in the first place" Megumi said as Ijichi stepped closer, now standing in front of the four of you.
