Letting out a loud sigh, you removed the plush blanket off of you. You sat up on your bed, rubbing your blood-shot, puffy eyes and looked around at your dark room.
"Man I really don't want to get out of bed today" you muttered, tiredly blinking your eyes. Standing up, you proceeded to do your usual morning routine and hurriedly put on your school uniform, exiting your room.
Closing the dormitory door behind you, you lazily walked around trying to spot your classmates while music was blasting through your earphones, making your mind forget the harsh reality, even for a little while.
A tall, black-and-white figure came on sight along with a green and ash blonde haired ones which you immediately recognized as your upperclassmen. Inumaki-senpai, Maki-senpai and Panda-senpai had their backs turned towards you, talking to Megumi and Nobara.
"What do you do at this event? Smash Bros?" Nobara wondered out loud with a few bandages covering her face here and there. You hadn't seen the girl since yesterday, where she was seemingly swallowed by that portal at the Detention Center. You felt extremely relieved seeing that she was safe and unharmed except for the few injuries on her face.
"I won't lose if it's the Wii version. I'll Meteor Smash so you can't come back" Nobara continued while she raised her fist and a wicked smile appeared on her lips.
"Wow, easy there Nobara. They don't exactly play Smash Bros at this event" you exclaimed, standing next to Maki. Kugisaki and Megumi's eyes lit up at your appearance as the three upperclasmen turned to face you. Maki grabbed you by the neck ruffling your hair playfully as you tried to free yourself from her headlock.
The second-year girl and you were quite close since you were the only female students at this school. She was worried sick when she heard what happened to you, forgetting the part where one of your classmates died, hence the comment she made a few moments prior about Megumi being moody.
"Where were you dumbass? I was worried about you" she exclaimed, releasing you as you stood up glaring at her for messing up your (H/C) locks.
"Thanks a lot Maki" you sarcastically said as she cockily smirked at you. "Anytime" Maki exclaimed as you growled at her. You were about to retort back an answer but your voice was muffled by Panda's tight embrace as he lifted you off the ground, spinning you around.
"(Y/N)-chan! You're okay!" he yelled, setting you back down as you tried to balance yourself, grabbing your now dizzy head.
"Yeah, I'm fine no need to worry" you answered and looked at Toge who waved at you with a closed eyed smile. "Hello to you too, Inumaki-senpai" you greeted the quiet boy back while putting on a fake smile to cover up how you actually felt and turned to face your two classmates who stared at you worriedly.
