"You look so beautiful, Sooya!" my mother looks at me and smiles.

"Of course she's, she's my daughter." my dad hugs me and I start laughing.

"And here comes your giant ego." mom rolls her eyes and we get in the car.

"Where are we even going?" I end up yawning.

"A casual dinner for friends. Soojoo and Seulgi will be there." mother says in a suggestive tone.

"At least, I'll not be alone with the elders." I scowl and my father laughs.

"You love to talk to the elders and have them praise you."

There are a few more cars in the garage and my heartbeat is accelerating. I'm shaking and my hands are sweaty.

Jennie's mom welcomes us with such a familiar smile on her face and I just smile softly when she shakes my hand.

"Wait, is that Dior?" she asks me and my heart misses the beat again.

"Y-yeah..." I end up stammering with that sudden question.

"Your perfume is so familiar, I'm sure I've smelled it somewhere recently."

"It's very common and..."

"JICHU!" Seulgi comes running and hugs me tightly. "You look so charming in that black shirt and jeans." she squeezes my cheeks.

"You're wanting something to be praising me like that." I squint and everyone laughs.

"I'm praising my best friend." She pouted and put her arm around mine.

"Let's go to the open area, everyone is already waiting for us!" Jennie's mom accompanies us and I start to feel agitated. Jennie's sitting on the side of the sofa, wearing only a white shirt, jeans and, wait, my jacket? What? When did this happen?

"Sooya!" Soojoo, who was sitting at the other side of the sofa, gets up and hugs me, putting her face in my neck and I feel her take a deep breath. "It looks like it's been so long since we saw each other."

"So much has happened in the past few days, right?"

"Jooya, let go my JiChu." Seulbear says with false irritation "I miss my best friend and you'll not steal her attention."

"How hard it's to be popular and loved by everyone." I throw my hair to the side and they laugh.

"You're stupid." Soojoo rolls her eyes.

"Stop! This is disguting" I feel the slap of Seulgi.

Dinner goes well, most of the time, considering that Jennie and I ignoring each other's presence.

Strangely, Seulgi and she got along very well and spent the whole time talking, while Soojoo stands beside me, playing with my fingers and intertwining our hands.
