You Can't Run From Who You Are

After all the shit Hope had done towards the girl she had been in love with since she was 14 and her best friend the twins forgave her and she confessed her feelings for the brunette the two started to become close again but that all change when Chloe betrayed her and Landon faking his death and decided to come back only to brake up with her.

With everything falling apart for her she decided to move back to New Orleans leaving everyone and everything she have known behind. Without a word to the brunette twin and unknowingly braking her heart.

After Hope left her without a word Josie started to keep her distance from everyone including her family. She started to hangout with some of the outcast students from her school, wear darker cloths and change her look to be more goth.

There was even times where her friends or family didn't know where she was or who she went with. She was often drunk or high. After having her heart broken so many times from the same person she finally had enough and just stopped caring about everything and everyone.

There was a point in her life where she just wanted to end her pain and just disappeare. Having no one in her life and giving everything she had for the only person she ever loved to eventually brake her to the core. With no magic it would be easier for her to die.

Hope was home when she was suprised to see Jed standing outside her gate.

"Jed, what are you doing here?" She was glad to see him but she knew that something had happened if he took the long ride to New Orleans.

"We need to talk" he said with a emotionless voice.

She let him in and the two of them went in.

Once they were inside Hope turned to her long lost friend.

"What is so important that you came all the way here and not over the phone?" She asked him.

Jed stared at her for a few seconds before he looked down on the floor and shook his head.

"We have been calling you and sent text messages but you refuse to answer any of our calls or text and you don't even bother to call back" he said and Hope knew he was telling the truth because that's what she had been doing since she left the school 2 years ago.

"Yeah about that I've been busy, I have a things to do" she said.

He looked at her in disbelieve and got irritated. He thought she cared about any of them but clearly it was a lie.

"Oh.. well.. I just came to tell you that doctor Saltzman is planning Josie's funeral since you two were together or something.. I guess I was wrong" he said and started to move towards the door.

Hope was in shock and couldn't belive what she heard.

"WHAT" she almost yelled out walking after Jed who was now outside her door.

"Jed.. Jed.. don't walk away from me when I'm talking to you" she said and ran after him but he didin't listen. He just kept walking until he was by the gate waiting for it to open.

Hope stood in front of him.

"What do you mean Josie's funeral. What happened to her?" She asked him.

He looked into her eyes and took out an envelope with her name on it.

"You don't need to come because Lizzie just wants the people w cared and loved her to go to the funeral" he said.

"Sorry for bothering you" he added one last time before walking out the gate.

"Wait.. tell me what happened" her voice cracked and tears was starting to run down her cheeks.
