The Doctor And The Captain

Josie Saltzman moved to New Orleans to continue her work as a trauma surgeon as her mother Josette Parker. Ever since her parents separated her mother moved to New Orleans and she and her sister Lizzie would stay with their father until they graduated high school and she finally moved to New York for Collage and then applied to her mother's residency in New Orleans her final year.

The way she worked hard and caring about other people's well being she was not much for dating.

All though she did have a few boys and girls flirting with her she was never interested. Well that was until the night she met the one and only Hope Mikaelson.

Hope was a fourth generation firefighter her father was and uncels is still are firefighter as well. Her grandfather Mikael was one as well and so was his father before him.

Hope was the captain for her team, people in the city knew who she was and who her family is. Not only were they firefighters but also doctors and now since her father retired from his station he became the city's mayor. Her aunt Freya is a lawyer. Her mother was a doctor as well as her aunt Keelin who is married to Freya and her aunt's Davina and Rebeckah are detectives.

Hope was a very attractive woman who had a lot of men running after her ever when she came out as a lesbian. Guys often said they could turn her but little did they know who her family was. She had always some who had an eye on her everywhere she went. Her father was very overprotective with her. No one was ever good enough for his daughter. That was until she met Josie Saltzman.

"Hope don't forget to be on time today. We have a special guest coming to join us" her father Klaus reminded her.

"Yes dad, I haven't forgotten about dinner. I be on time" she said as she hanged up.

Her uncel Elijah is the Chife of the NOFD who basically ordered her to go home and let Kaleb take over the rest of her shift.

She was already home to have enough time to take a shower and have some rest before going to her family home. She wondered why this dinner was important then any other family dinners they had in the past. They never had any problem with her being a bit late before so it must be something someone wants to announce.

After a few hours Hope finally arrived at her family home where her parents and the rest of her family lived. The decision she made of moving out of her family home was the hardest thing for her to do since she had been living there since she was born and up til she was 20. She wanted to be independent and manage to live on her own without any help from her family.

As she got inside she was met with her entire family and Ms Parker who is the chief of Surgeon.

"Hope you are finally here" her mother said and hugged her.

"Yeah.. dad, uncel Kol and Elijah ordered me to be on time" she meekly said and this made everyone laugh.

"Ms Parker it's nice to see you again" she said and the brunette woman smiled at her.

"It's nice to see you too Hope, last time I saw you, you were still a little girl running around with the twins" she said and smiled at the red head.

They all sat in the family room until the door bell rang and Hope wondered who it could be since everyone was already there.

"Are we waiting for someone?" She asked her father who just nodded.

"Look who finally decided to join us" Freya said with a big smile.

When Hope noticed a tall brunette woman her heart started to beat faster and for the first time she was speachless to meet someone.

"Hi sorry I'm late. I had to finish my rounds" the sweet voice said. Hope noticed the beautiful smile the woman had on her face and her hazel brown eyes.
