I Was Never Yours

Hope had a big fight with Landon when he confronted her about their relationship. She honestly didin't want to be with him anymore, he was being too needy and clingy and she did not like that.

She was sitting by the docks staring at the water when she heard footsteps coming her way.

"I told you Landon, I don't want to be with you anymore just leave me alone" she said angry.

"Well safe to say I'm not him then" a soft voice said and she turned her head around to see Josie. The brunette girl that she had been in love with since she was 14.

"Josie" she whispers.

"Hey Hope" the brunette says letting herself to sit beside the red head.

Hope couldn't help it. She pulled Josie closer to her so that she could feel her and really see that she was there.

"You're here, you are really here" she said with tears running down her face.

The girl nodded her head and gave her a weak smile.

They sat there until late in the night. Hope felt her heart somber a little. She missed the girl and she wished she could have told her to stay. She wish that she could confess about her feelings for the girl but she couldn't. She was scared.

That night they talked about what had been happening since she ran away. Hope never wanted to hurt her but she did and the consequences led to Josie leaving for Paris and Lizzie stayed here with their father. The blond hated her from that day.

The day after everyone was suprised and happy to see Josie again. Especially Lizzie who wouldn't want to leave her sisters side. She had her arms linked to hers at all times.

Hope was suprise when Josie sat next to her. Lizzie on the other hand was just irritated. Josie knew that they haven't spoken for almost 3 years.

Hope's feelings for Josie was overwhelming and she wanted nothing then to kiss her and tell her to stay. To come back home so that they could be together.

"You okey babe?" Josie asked her and Hope smiled wide when she heard the girl call her babe.

"Yeah.. You're here so I'm all good" she said leaning over to Josie who just kissed her head and pulled her closer in her arms.

Their friends watch them getting cozy. To them this was normal, the two of them had always been all touchy feeling.

"I love you Jo" the red head whispers in the girls ear. Josie could believe it. After years of pinning for the girl that she had been in love with since she was 12 loved her.

"I love you to Hope, I've been in love with you since I was 12" she whispers back and Hope finally found the courage to pull the girl closer to her and finally crash their lips together.

Josie was happy and smiled into the kiss and Hope just giggled. Everyone at the table just hollered at them. Hearing comments like "It's about time" and "finally, took you 3 years to kiss" but the comment that was heard loudest was from Landon.

"You broke up with me so that you could be with her" he said angry and staring at them.

"No, I broke up with you because I don't love you and you were being so clinggy and annoying" Hope said and dismissed the boy.

"Yeah.. I was right.. you are a whore, does not suprise me if you didin't cheat on me during our relationship" he says loudly.

Before Hope or anyone could get a word out Landon was on the floor bleeding out from his nose and crying out that it had broke.
