Be still my heart Part 3

The rehearsal in the church went very  well, neither Josie or Hope said much to each other.

The girls didn't know how to act around one another so they both kept quiet. There was glances from both sides but still they didn't say anything.

Now they where on their way to dinner. That's where things got a little weird between them. Hope and Josie was supposed to sit on different side of the table but ended up sitting the opposite of each other and was  now face to face.

Lizzie was pissed but both Hope and Josie told her that it was okey, it's just dinner and it be fine. So for the remaining night they didn't change the sitting.

They both kept stealing glances. Josie couldn't hold it anymore.. when dessert was the only thing left she excused herself from the table to use the comfort room.

Hope kept her eyes on Josie until she couldn't see her. Hope wanted to get up and talk to her. This would be the perfect time. Lizzie squeezed her shoulder and got Hope back from her trans. The blond didn't need to say anything, Hope knew what the blond wanted her to do and so she just nodded and left the table.

She looked for the girl in the restroom but it was empty. She walke around til she saw her in the back yard.

She walked over to Josie who was leaning over the edge of a semi-made balcony, she noticed that she was crying. It broke her heart to see her like this.

"Josie" she said with a soft voice. Josie looked up and saw those blue eyes that she loved so much. The brunette dryed her tears away but Hope took her hands in hers.

Hope couldn't help the tears that was already falling down her eyes. They staired at each other for a minut before Hope broke the silence.

"I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry for the pain I caused you years ago" she started but Josie interrupted her.

"Hope we both know it's my fault, I was the one who cheated on you" she whispered.

Hope leans her head against Josie's "that's not what I heard from this morning" she said still looking at the brunette. She pressed her body closer to her, she put her arms around Josie's waist.

"I love you Jo, I never stopped and I miss you, I shouldn't have run away without hearing you out. What Lizzie told me I don't think it was your fault." Now that made Josie confused and pulled away from her.

"What do you mean? What did Lizzie tell you?" She asked her.

Hope sat down on a near by bench and Josie follows. "She told me that there was another rumor that around few days after I left, people was saying that Jade kissed you without your consent, she wanted us to brake up cause of what you did to her years ago. About Diego, Wendy and her."

Josie's eyes widened and jaw slightly dropped. She couldn't belive it. She felt her tears coming back again and this time it was because she was pissed.

She still remembers that day and it scared her. Even when they where forced out of school she was clinging on to her sister for weeks. She even had nightmares about it.

Hope held on to the brunette. She didn't know what to say.

After a few more minutes Josie finally said something "She wanted revenge after what I did? She kissed me and let me belive that it was me who started it? She wanted us to brake up just to hurt me?" She whispered to herself.

Hope held her tighter and closer to her body. "If that's true then I'm the one who broke your heart and in process mine too, I should have listened to my mom and aunt, I should atleast have let you explain" she mumbled into the brunette.
